A lot of players (myself included) use the Lion Wardrobe to preview decor combinations on their lions and design looks for them. Having these two items - which are already categorized as decor - enabled would make things a lot easier. Regarding the Translucent Jellyfish, the point of this item is to create a visual scene without your lion in it. It would be helpful to see how the existing decor interacts without the lion's body in the way. In the case of the Lab Test Frog, you can currently switch the lion's gender to the opposite choice, but this does not let you know whether or not certain decor (Submissive Female/Male, etc.) would be usable on your lion, since its stat-based gender does not change. |

I can understand wanting to see how the layers work for the t. jellyfish, but why the frog? You can just change the sex of the lion already :S  0 players like this post! Like? |

As I stated, some decor is only usable on lions of certain genders, e.g. the Groupie decors only work on males, and their counterparts the Rival decors only work on females. Since the Lab Test Frog changes only the appearance of your lion, not its in-game gender, you can't preview the proper decors on a lion with the Lab Test Frog active. It would save people the trouble of wasting 2 GB on a Lab Test Frog, or even more on a certain decor, only to find out that it won't work on their lion once applied. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I believe decors will change along with lion looks, otherwise they'd all look broken on the lion with frog equipped. So just change the gender of the lion to see what it will look like with frog equipped. The "actual gender doesnt change" in frog's description I think is referring to breeding, patrolling, hunting, etc. So you cant impregnate a sub male or patroll a lioness etc. I much support the translucent jellyfish though, it's sometimes hard to see if the decors will look good. 0 players like this post!  Using the Lab Test Frog makes no difference. When it's equipped you still can't use items viable only on (fe)males regardless of appearance since the sex is only visually changed. Half support? The lab frog is wholly unnecessary. But I can see the desire for the translucent jellyfish. One can change age to newborn/cub for a better look at a background, but that doesn't work decor. 0 players like this post! Like? |
