When a king levels up, he gets a bunch of stats as well. But females don't get stats when they level up. Normally that's ok since females get stats for every successful hunt. But broodmothers don't hunt. Their stats are frozen unless they are removed from broodmother stasis. Which isn't feasible for players with a lot of cubs to be taken care of. So why do broodmothers even get EXP in the first place? It makes no sense at all. So I suggest that broodmothers get one stat every day for each cub they're taking care of. Which stat they get is random. Example: Broodmother A takes care of 3 cubs. The first day, she'll get one Speed, one Strength, and one Smarts. The second day, she'll get 2 Skill and one Stamina. The third day, she'll get one Speed, one Skill, and one Agility, etc. The cubs must be protected by the broodmother when rollover occurs for her to get the stats. This would prevent people from making a lioness a broodmother for an hour and then removing her as one that same day to get the stat and still hunt her. |

That seems fair. The max a lioness can get is 5 stats a day (6 if she's Nurturing), which is less than she would get in 10 hunts. 0 players like this post! Like? |

They get exp. For a reason. Instead of giving more lions stats, I would love to see levels have an impact either in the game or at the broodmother feature. No support. We dont need more stats. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with Laszlo's reasoning - implementing levels into the game system and having them become a more prominent feature for lionesses is something I'd love to see on LD. But I can also see where Shozureis' going along with the stats. However, if Broodmothers start gaining stats based on the amount of cubs they have, the issue with stats would again resurface, which the LD community tried to fix when LD first came out [due to the hunting gameplay setup which was different back then]. Xylax and the other admins/mods have somewhat solved this problem though and the stats have levelled out among new and old players. Instead, how about implementing something similar to main lion on broodmothers. Since broodmothers only gain exp. and not stats, whenever they gain a level, they have a chance of gaining 2-3 stats [give or take]. Since broodmother's cannot hunt while they are classified under the broodmother status, I do not see players gaining an advantage of switching their hunters and broodmothers and abusing the levelling. I may see this as a problem in the future though as if this is implemented into gameplay, players might want the same thing for non-broodmothers. So, support and no support. I'll see other players opinions. But great idea Sho. :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

And could you tell me the reason, Laszlo? Females don't get anything when they level up, so how does giving broodmothers EXP benefit them at all? 0 players like this post! Like? |

That is what I am saying. It doesnt right now but why not have them implement something that makes broodmothers benefit from levels (exp), to make them better and more effective broodmothers. This would require a change in the broodmother feature, though. I think stats shouldnt be the only desired things. Levels should do something. Hunters 'benefit' -they dont really but whatever- from stats, so let broodmothers benefit from exp. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 26/06/16 @ 01:18:33 by Laszlo (#10825) |

Hunters benefit from leveling up. The higher the level, the better chance of better prey up to level 10. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I dont see a difference, honestly. It must be an extra tiny benefit. Anyway, I just thought of an idea. I'll make a suggestion for that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

YES, support! It annoys the heck out of me when I get a high stat nurturing girl because I don't want to waste her personality but I also want to hunt her. I think lioness levels are pointless if they don't give anything at all, just a numeric representation of how much you've done with her. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support. I don't really think this feature could be abused, as some suggested, because of the cool down on cubs when they're removed/added to the brood mother. I guess you could switch it out every 24 hours, but I don't really see the point in that when they're going to get waaaay less stats than from hunting. For example, I always get at least 10 hunts a day, sometimes up to 25. On a 10 hunt day my lionesses probably average 8 stats excluding skill. If brood mothers are only getting 3-4 than it's less than half of what a hunter gets. Also, I have two hunting parties with a fairly different average level and there is definitely a difference in the prey they take down, so leveling does make a difference. 0 players like this post! Broodmothers do get a really bad deal when it comes to stats. Full support!! (Another addition to this is that ALL lions in a pride get more stats when they level up--just not as many as the king, since stats on sub males and lionesses aren't as important as the king's are.) 0 players like this post! I would have to agree with only giving brood mothers stats upon leveling vs. stats for each cub 0 players like this post! Like? |
