|The Grounders|


Not much is known about their history on Earth other than them being descendants of radiation-tolerant humans and doomsday preppers who survived the nuclear apocalypse 97 years ago. The DNA of the offspring of the Grounders who survived on Earth outside Mount Weather evolved and adapted, making them immune to the radiation that still lingers on Earth, much like the people from the Ark.

Warriors have often been shown in some type of armor made out of a variety of materials such as: bone, leather, cloth, and animal furs. They often wear masks or helmets made out of bone and wood. Many wear war paint on their face and body. Many members appear to have tattoos on their face and/or body. Warriors fight with a variety of weapons: swords, daggers, spears, bows, and fists. Many members are skilled in hand-to-hand combat. They do not use guns as it is believed that if a Grounder picks one up, Mount Weather will wipe them out.

|Reapers|


Reapers are savage, primal, cannibalistic, and brutal, showing no mercy to their victims. Most Reapers appear disfigured, with horns and bumps across their faces and head. It is possible this is a side effect of the drug, Red.

Once a Grounder has been turned into a Reaper, they are left in the mines to guard Mount Weather. As loyal guard dogs for the Mountain Men, the Reapers protect the mines and bring in new Grounders to the Mountain Men. The only food Reapers are given are the bodies of the Grounders that the Mountain Men have harvested of their blood. The Mountain Men use the tone generator to control the Reapers when interacting with the Reapers during harvests. The Grounders are fearful and hostile towards the Reapers because they capture Grounders who are never heard from again. Grounders will avoid the Reaper tunnels at all costs.

|Mountain Men|


The inhabitants of Mount Weather, were sealed when the Nuclear War took place. Decades later, Mount Weather was thought to be the last surviving human stronghold, and the preservers and conservators of culture and civilization.

56 years ago, when the Mountain Men first discovered the Outsiders were able to walk above ground, they began conducting experiments on them. Through the use of the Cerberus Project, the Mountain Men would collect Grounders. Then through the Harvest Project, the Mountain Men would drain the Grounder's blood out of their bodies, hoping that if slowly replaced by their own blood, it would react as a filter for the radiation, and eventually to be able to go outside of the mountain.

Athena is a stunning brunette with delicate features, such a small nose, fleshy lips, and coquette eyes, colored with hazel; Mixtures of brown and green colors. Her dark hair is smooth and soft, yet showing slight curles at the tips. She has freckled cheeks and long eyelashes, creating a rather attractive and feminine appearance. She is fairly swift, standing at 5'4 tall and weighing around 119 lbs, allowing her slim body to have curves and great agility. Due to her look, Athena is often underestimated, but don't let her size and appearance fool you.

Athena is a strong-willed, aggressive and focused girl with a fire for cowardice and disorganization. Despite the fact that Thea is mischievous and slightly rebellious, when it comes to survival matters or the well-being of her people, she is not one to step out of line to break a rule, unless necessary for a reason she believes is right. She is incrediby stubborn and dominant, and being as focused as she is, she isn’t distracted easily by things that aren’t as important as survival. She can be aggressive if provoked, menacing those close to her, let that be a Grounder or another Survivor as well. Thea is very mature and wise, always opting first for dialogue before the actions can take place, although when her temper blinds her, this doesn't always results. She can be a reserved person, not allowing herself to let others get too close, or confident. However, it is not impossible to gain her affection and attention; It will be simply difficult, an entire process. Behind a demanding and tough lady, she can be flirty, calmed, and a great advisor, despite her young age. Athena is overly-protective and caring once you manage to break that shell.

|History|

Not much is known about Athena's past, other than being hidden her entire life in the small and gray room that she and her family called their home. A loosen panel on the ground allowed a tight and obscure hiding place that provided her protection during patrols of the guards of The Ark. When she was 16, a friend of her mother discovered her, but her family trusted that the old man would keep it a secret. Only when the guards where at their door, commanding them to submit the girl, they noticed they had made a mistake. The moment they all entered, they arrested her parents. Screams and tears had taken over the station, attempting to bring back her family. How she managed to break free from the guards hold is an unknown reason, as it was impossible for such a thin and small girl. Although she ran as fast as her legs allowed, when she arrived the floating board, her progenitors were already placed in the capsule, and not long after she arrived, the doors that gave exit to space were open, instantly dragging them into the darkness of the galaxy. The once-close individual was on the scene, for his bad luck, for when he noticed of Athena's presence, she was only inches away from him. He was thrown to the ground, and instantly greeted with small fists filled with anger and impotence. She resisted another hold, not because of fear, but rage. She would be locked, with or without blood in her hands. The struggles ended up with a drugged and arrested Athena, waking up in the same cell for almost two years, separated from Ares, her brother, until informed of her 'membership' on The 100.

Despite the fact that she knows he can defend himself in any case, she is overly-protective, commonly being the first to snarl, and likely attack to fend Ares.

Hunter; Athena finds her co-leader extremely attractive, and sometimes even looses the thread. Despite this, their personalities, opinions and organizations sometimes clash with each other, ending in discussions most of the time. Wip.

Zakarias is a tall and robust man, sanding a startling 6'1 and weighing around 165 lbs, strong and powerful muscles showing mostly on his arms and torso given the training that he has applied since a young age. His piercing green eyes are extremely uncommon for his color and known ancestors, but are indeed captivating and attractive. Zach has a black, short and somewhat curly/rough hair, and is usually found with a short and dark beard.

|History|

Since a young age, Zakarias was raised and trained as a warrior of the Treekru clan, along his sister, Nikita. As he was older (And a man) he took on most of the responsibilities that his parents and the tribe leaders assigned as he got older, learning to value family, honor and loyalty above all. Around the age of 16, his family was ambushed and seemengly killed by the Mountain Men's terrible creation; Reapers. A battle had developed near the boundaries of the territory during a patrol, when his parents, also their mentors as they were warriors, decided to bring them along for a couple of short lessons and practices. The siblings were gifted with time and distractions from the adults, and eventually managed to escape from death, arriving to their village with nothing more than scratches. As time passed, they both chose to be as great warriors as their mother and father were, and they currently are. Zakarias continues to blame himself for the losts believing that, although given his abilities were not enough to fight Reapers, if he didn't escaped, he could have saved them. And even then, everytime he observes Nikita being a fine warrior and a grown up woman, he regrets his thougts.

Although he knows she is perfectly capable of keeping herself safe, he is over-protective and can become controlling at times, but with her independence and sometimes rebellious side, she rarely ever obeys him. Kato is a young man of average height and weight, standing at about 5'9" and weighing around 170 pounds. His hair is so pale it comes across as white and his eyes are a very dark gray, almost appearing black depending on the lighting. He has fair skin that seems to be incapable of naturally tanning and is prone to getting burned if he's outside under the sun for too long. If his eyes weren't so dark one might assume he was an albino. He has a rather youthful face that will likely stay with him as he grows older. His build is neither excessively thin nor overly muscular, being somewhere in between.

Personality:
Soft-spoken and reserved. Kato seems to have a rather gentle soul and shies away from conflict or violence. While certainly an introverted individual who needs his space he isn't necessarily shy and will do his best to fit in with any given group. It would be unusual to hear Kato complain about anything and he'll put up with a lot before speaking up if someone or something is bothering him. He's the type who tends to bottle things up, not wanting to burden other people with his feelings or problems. If allowed to continue this will likely end in an emotional breakdown. The only exception to his meek and mild demeanor is when he feels someone is being treated unfairly or in danger. He's far more likely to stick up for other people compared to himself.

History:
Kato grew up with a mother who suffered from severe depression and a sickly father who was often bed-ridden. Things only became worse for the small family as the ARK swiftly used up most of their resources. Now only the most important people on the ship could afford medicine or food. The stress of their hopeless situation finally drove his mother to take her own life by the time Kato was 16 years old, leaving him to care for his ailing father alone. Kato served as a farmer, mostly tending to plants used for food or making cures for diseases on the ship. After hanging around with a few medic apprentices he learned enough about medicinal herbs to start making home-made medicines from the plants he grew. At first they were just for his father, but he soon began making them for other sick passengers as well free of charge. This was, of course, illegal. He got away with it for a few months before being caught and surrendering without a fight.

Once you get on her bad side you may have just entered the land of no return. She is a loyal friend once you gain her trust, one who would do anything to protect those she cares for. She isn't one to back down from a challenge and may in fact be too stubborn for her own good.

History:
Talia was raised by a single father. He never spoke of what happened to her mother, but whatever the reason for her absence he was clearly haunted by it. Talia initially was being trained to become an guard, but tossed her future career out the window after losing her temper when another trainee started flinging insults her way, nearly strangling him until he suffocated. She stopped of her own accord as the boy began to pass out and was arrested soon after. She did regret her actions after having time alone to think it over, but never apologized. The other cadet had been taunting her for months and she'd finally had enough.

Standing at roughly 6'1ft, Jasper stands quite tall in height with dark brown hair that turns a lighter shade at the ends. His hair is usually styled to be short and swept up and out of his pale skin and electric blue eyes. Jasper has a lean but muscular build and angular yet smooth facial features. His skin is a healthy tan that is littered with different scars, there is almost never a day where you would see him without a new scar or cut. One noticeable scar that he knows will never fade is a long scar that starts from the back of his left shoulder which then bends slightly towards his rib cage, looking almost as if the attacker was trying to disembody his arm. Luckily it had missed his spine but the scar will sometimes ache however it is quick to leave right after it arrived.

Personality:
When around strangers or people he barely knows, Jasper can become quiet and becomes more observant than anything, only talking when he feels necessary. Though, this isn't from lack of care, he can become quite talkative at times. It has became more of a habit to do this to any person he has meet, since it was needed so much during his time impersonating a guard. Jasper can become quite competitive, both hostile or playful wise, however it mostly depends on who challenges him first. The male knows when to back down if seeing that he is out matched or out numbered, he won't always go out of his way to do things that he knows for sure will not work. Jasper is a excellent Marksman and favors sniping as his fighting style, almost never seen without any type of gun strapped to his back or waist. However, even though he is physically strong and can hold himself pretty decent in a fight, his hand to hand combat isn't excellent and could use some work. With friends or people close to him, Jasper has a very protective and supportive/loyal behavior and is actually kindhearted and gentle. Although his expression doesn't always change, he has an amusing way of teasing people even when it is at the worst of times to do so. Jasper isn't the type of person who can really sit down and learn for hours on end, he is more of a person who learns in the moment or observes. At times the brown haired male can become a little childish or playful, especially when around friends or family. However, he is protective of things/people that he sees as his responsibility and isn't afraid to get violent if needed. However, when it comes to failing at things that he believes was his responsibility, Jasper will beat himself up over it to great extents depending on the situation.

History:

Jasper had known two people, a brother and sister named Milo and Sarah. The two siblings were only about three years younger than Jasper and they all treated each other like family. Milo and Sarah weren't the richest people in the world but they still pushed through to stay alive. Jasper didn't live with them but he had made it his everyday goal to visit them each day. One day Jasper had went to visit the siblings only to see the Guard trying to arrest them for thievery that they had not committed, someone had set them up. The siblings were arrested and Jasper was holding back every fiber in his body to go after the Guard and free his friends. However he first needed to find who set the two up.
It was only months later from the incident, did the male find who he was looking for and it just so happened that the person had been part of the Guard too. Jasper had planned everything before hand, he was to go impersonate a guard and sneak into the Guard undercover. Single out his target from the rest of the group and attack but he knew it wasn't going to be easy. However, in the middle of his plan did he find out later the one of the siblings had been killed after trying to assault a guard while the other sibling soon died later due to illness and during his grief, Jasper was still determined to get the job done. Days had past before he finally was able to make his move and kill his target, which was a success, kind of. The male was able to kill his target but somehow his victim was able to alert backup during their fight. Not in the greatest mindset at the moment, Jasper fought the guards even though he was completely out numbered. Becoming pinned to the ground only to feel something pierce his skin from the back of his shoulder to his ribs. Surprisingly, instead of being 'floated' Jasper was just arrested and kept to rot in a cell, until he was informed of his 'agreement' to join on The 100.

When experiments failed, she would become so devastated and after her out-lashes, she would clam up and not talk to people for day. History:
Cecily grew up in a pretty dysfunctional family. Her father was a high regarded scientist on The Ark, but her mother was a sickly woman who stayed at home and had little socialization. Cecily adored her mother, who was a kind and soft spoken woman, but her father seemed to detest her. He kept her mother hidden away from others, seemingly ashamed of her feeble body. As Cecily grew older, she saw less and less of her mother, and she started going to work with her father all the time, learning whatever he could teach. It had been months since she had seen her own mother, and she snuck away from her father to go and see her. Upon seeing her mother, she realized how bad her condition was. She confronted her father about this and he admitted to knowing how bad off she was, but there was little he could do about it. He had been keeping her out of sight for all this time to protect her, but she had gotten to the point to where he could not care for her anymore. Cecily was determined to get the things her mother needed, so she stole them. After handing them over to her mother, she was discovered by the guards. She fought back as best the could, managing to get a weapon from one of the guard and nearly killing another. She fought long and hard, but was eventually caught and taken in.

Lance is 5 feet 10 inches and 150 pounds. He has a slender body shape and tends to neglect his muscles. He tends to slouch from bad habits and often exhibits uninviting body language. His hands, unlike the rest of his body, are calloused and sturdy from his hobbies. His skin is fairly white with the occasional freckle. Lance has sharp chestnut brown eyes with similarly colored hair that is shorter on the sides and longer on the top. His brown eyes are dark, his face oval, and lips thin. Lance's nose is average sized and he has no facial hair.

Personality:
Lance bases his choices on logic, making him analytical in every sense. He favors the mind over the heart, except when it is logical to listen to the heart. His greatest forces are ambition, wit, and judgement. He finds peace within organization and familiarity. Lance works best alone or with one other person and is easily stressed in group situations. He can be manipulative and sees his surroundings as if it were a chess board. He respects people but criticizes all ideas, which presents him as obnoxious or rude. Feelings are Lance's greatest weakness, as they can not be analyzed or quickly dealt with. Lance isn't a natural leader, but steps up when no leader does. His self-confidence is not high but he takes great pride in his work.

History:
Lance was raised by his father and mother, both accomplished doctors. Their dream was to raise Lance to be the finest doctor on the Ark. At a young age Lance made it clear medicine was not interesting to him by spending days watching the engineers. His parents pressured him to give up engineering. Lance practiced his own engineering in secret, stealing supplies and sneaking around restricted areas. He was able to secretly practice engineering up until the age of 12 when his parents found his stolen supplies. They forgave Lance and tried to sneak the equipment back, but they were not as careful as Lance was. His parents were caught and confessed to trying to undo their son's crimes. The council pardoned his parents, mostly because they needed their expertise in medicine. Lance was sentenced to death, because the council was embarrassed a child had snuck parts from them for years. Lance passed time in the sky box by drawing blueprints on the cell walls and stealing from the guards.

Personality: Norah is an outgoing woman who is always at the aid for others. She is constantly putting others first and can neglect herself. She takes responsibility seriously and doesn't hesitate to try a difficult challenge. loyalty and trust are Norah's biggest values. She defends tradition and familiarity without a second thought. Norah can be found socializing and love to be with other people. Her feelings are sensitive and she does not take criticism easily. Norah has an intuitive talent for reading other's emotions. She followed the crowd and never has independent thought. Although Norah came come across as not intelligent, she knows lots about medical herbs and the human body. She can connect with people quickly and knows how to play the social game.

Because they were far out of the village the medic could not make it in time to save her sister. On that day Norah promised her sister she would never let another person die the way she did. Norah also gained a strong hatred for the Mountain Men and admiration for Warriors. She left her home village, learned medicine from a mentor, and was assigned to start her medical career in her current village.
