Marfan Syndrome is where bones grow too much, which could cause something to be much larger than normal. I believe it'd be a good edition for lions. If they have Marfan Syndrome, they'd be slightly larger than an average lion, males and females. Cubs could be larger than normal cubs, adolescents near the size of an adult, and adults could be quite big. It would not be lethal, and could have an effect in battle. Like the size could scare the enemy, like roaring can freeze them up. However, they'd be slower due to their size. It only makes sense. :) if you do not support, please state why! Goal: 100 Supports EDIT: I had someone mention a few more effects. They could also be slower than usual when they get older as well. So this could be a bit lethal since the effects aren't all good, and there's really only one. But with a lioness their chances would also be lower with catching prey since they'd be slower and bigger, easy for prey to spot. EDIT 2: They may not be larger, actually. Someone pointed out it makes animals skinnier usually, which would make sense. So this could cancel out "EDIT 1" as it talks of being "larger" but not taller. It could also have an effect on the looks of eyes and the mouth as those are also symptoms. |

The reason i do not support is because, there are some things that effect game play. And i think that this should be one of them. As a lion larger than most others would began to slow as they age. A lioness with this mutation or what ever you are suggesting would be slower and not able to catch pray, as they age they would be even slower since they are bigger than normal. A male with this would be harder to win with in a battle because they are slower. I think this should be a mutation or what ever that does effect game play or where a male with the mutation can not be made king. Even a male that is patrolled would be under the effects of tiring easier and faster. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I did say there'd be effects... I mentioned they'd be slower... And larger things don't necessarily become tired quicker, they just wouldn't have the same speed and agility. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like the idea! Marfan syndrome is actually a connective tissue condition though, and generally makes the person afflicted a lot thinner as well as larger. Maybe the art for it could include eye/tooth problems as well, since those are also symptoms. The only problem I can think of is that I can't find any instances of it occurring in lions, but it does happen in other animals such as cows. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah that's true about it probably not occurring in lions but it could still be a good idea for the game :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm only supporting this as long as this becomes a mutation. Would make more sense than for a syndrome to just appear 0 players like this post! Like? |

Well yes that is my intention; for it to become a mutation. Thanks for the support! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I am approving this mutation however I cannot estimate time when it'd be put in, 2016 or 2020 ;'D 0 players like this post! Like? |
