A fairly fit man with a light olive skin tone and tousled dark brown hair, often kept combed back. His eyes are nearly the same shade of brown as his hair with flecks of gold surrounding the pupil. He is well-muscled and lean with a square jawline and faint scarring crisscrossing his face. A tattoo of a compass star can be found on the right arm while a tribal lion wraps around the left in black ink. Also facial hair. He has that stuff too. *Points at picture in a very professional manner I am an A+ roleplayer yes.*
Lion Appearance
A large male with a dark golden brown pelt. His eyes are almost entirely golden in this form. A thick, two-toned black and brown mane protects the throat. Tufts of black fur line the elbows and the end of the tail. His muzzle is heavily scarred. His claws are long and overgrown, forever unsheathed.
Personality
Even throughout childhood Shenzi proved maliciously tenacious and violent in nature. These traits have only intensified the older he gets. No amount of punishment or scolding appears to dissuade this deranged male and if left to his own devices he is at times a menace even to his own pride. Shenzi has little guilt or shame for the pain he inflicts upon others and is horribly self-indulgent. Any kindness or love he has in that darkened heart of his is reserved for his own children, or the ones he considers suitable at the least, and potentially anyone he takes on as a partner. He has a surprisingly decent relationship with his secondary leader despite his selfish, impulsive and dominant nature. Somehow they've managed as a generally stable command duo thus far.

Brief History
Shenzi was born within the borders of a pride who called themselves the Scorched, ruled by a floppy eared lion with rust-colored fur, the mighty Kutu. Despite sharing no blood relation with the king he was allowed to live and remain among his pridemates, perhaps because Kutu had no sons of his own and saw something in Shenzi worth saving. He would come to regret this kindness years later when Shenzi’s overgrown claws sliced his belly open and ended him with one swift flick of the paw, forcing his beloved daughters Hasa and Aina to watch his demise with unblinking eyes. Despite Kutu's best efforts to transform Shenzi into an honorable heir it would seem something was never quite right with this lion. Whether it was the fault of his rather neglectful mother or he was simply born this way is unclear. Vita, while certainty beautiful, never did her only child any favors.
His small pride was unfortunately forced from their home after a fierce flood swept across the land. Traveling in search of new territory, it wasn’t long before they stumbled across Elmwood. The fact that another pride of werelions had already claimed the land as their own did little to deter Shenzi’s ambitions. The pride had joined up with a clan of werehyenas who had suffered through similar tragedies along the way. Bridging the way between formally rival species hadn’t been easy, but the conjoined group has been doing well upon realizing how much stronger they are together. Shenzi has made some grand promises to his followers. Whether he can actually keep them or not is another story.

Weight: 196 pounds.
Devdan has medium brown skin with ochre undertones. His hair is short, scruffy and dark brown in color with black tips, generally appearing as if he rarely runs a comb through it. His eyes are a very dark brown and his canine teeth are much longer than the average human. He’s heard all your vampire jokes by now and he’s very bored with them. Try and be original, ey? His build is athletic and powerful. He tends to wear khaki capri shorts, cameo shirts and the same pair of beaten up tan sneakers all year long. Despite his lack of care concerning his appearance he still comes across as rather good looking, or so he thinks at least. He won’t hesitate to tell you either.
Hyena Appearance
Predominantly ashy gray pelt with distinctive dark striping along with gray-brown fur around the face and ears.. While larger than a normal male striped hyena he is still not quite big enough to outsize a lion much to his disappointment. He has a massive, but short body combined with long legs, a moderately sloped back and heavy skull with a slightly shortened muzzle ending in a black nose. He has small dark brown eyes and high-set large sharply rounded ears.
Personality
Cocky and egotistical. Devdan is a bit self-absorbed. His name does mean "gift of the gods" after all. He can come across as either charming or smug depending on his mood and whether he's trying to leave a good impression on whoever he's talking to. He is i boastful and bull-headed, often acting before thinking, rushing right into a situation instead of planning it out first. He tends to be a brute strength over brains kind of guy, thinking a show of force will solve all of his problems. He's not actually the brightest crayon in the box and can be easily tricked or manipulated by others. Devdan has a violent streak that can get ugly if not gotten under control within the first few seconds of a fight and tends to hold grudges for a very long time. Despite this he is respectful and submissive in the presence of women. In hyena society females hold all the power.

Brief History
Devdan grew up within a small family unit in rural India, the band consisting of only himself, his parents and his younger sister. After an incident that involved his mentally unstable mother attacking a child in a human village they did a lot of moving, eventually ending up in the United States. Devdan made the decision to separate from his family unit by his 15th birthday in order to avoid his mother’s vicious temper regardless of this technically being too young to live without the guidance of parental figures. He attempted to bring his sister with him, but she chose to remain with their weak-willed father. He survived on his own for awhile before joining the Bachelors on their journey for a new home, but doesn’t have the best social skills as a result of living off the streets for so long.
