What if sub males where able to take a cub or two and "Teach them survival skills" Ie raising their survival bar a bit and letting them gain a skill point or two? Maybe just once a day for each cub not protected by a brood mother. The cubs wouldn't be able to be protected by a brood mother for the same amount of brood mother cool down other cubs have. so no training then protecting. The risk of the cub dying is still there. The sub male could maybe gain a tiny bit of experience or a couple skill points.

Thought this could maybe add more interactive features to the sub males and make them more of a useful commodity to players
