Castiel

The male sighed slightly, and brushed his hair off of his forehead. He was walking through the woods, his combat boots stepping across the terrain easily despite the fact that it was uneven as could be. His icy blue gaze glanced from the left to the right, his head tilting when he thought he heard the foot steps of something running fast across the ground. He was wearing a black vest today and a long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and a tie tucked behind his vest. He couldn't tell, but he thought that perhaps the foot steps were getting closer to him. He stopped walking, and glanced around him for the cause of the running. What was out there?

A loud gun shot was soon heard followed by pain in my front right shoulder and leg, I ended up tripping up and fell to the ground. My ears moved back out of fear knowing that I needed to keep moving so that I wouldn't be killed. I was glad that I was in my wolf form since it was easier to get around plus I would still be able to run with three legs. I half ran half limped away. I soon ended up running into someone wondering who it was because I was scared of running into any more hunters.

There was a loud gun shot that ripped through the atmosphere, and I whipped around to face the direction the gunshot had come from. I blinked when I saw a wolf that was wounded, my blue eyes wide with surprise as I glanced further on into the trees to see if there was anyone that was following him. I slowly bent down to kneel on one knee, and tilted my head at the wolf. "Do'ya need some help?" I asked, my blue eyes glancing up when I heard barking and more gun fire in the distance. If I was going to help him, he'd need to come now otherwise he wouldn't be able to help him.

I looked at him knowing that I was needing help but I wasn't going to respond since I was sure he thought of me as just a normal wolf after all not many knew about the supernatural plus I didn't want to scare the guy, I ended up laying down on the floor feeling unable to move and would likely need to be carried. I was pretty light for a wolf and would be easy to carry which I guess I would allow him to do. I was worried about what would happen.

He ended up laying down on the floor, and I blinked down at him for a moment. Did he want me to carry him? I leaned over, one hand curling into the durable skin on the back of his neck and the other arm scooping beneath his torso to haul him into my arms. I hugged the wolf to my chest, and began to carry him away from the barking and the hunters that were no doubt looking for him. He wasn't heavy, but my top speed realistically was still only a jog at random bursts. I was panting as I broke free of t he tree line, and began to carry him toward my house that wasn't too far from us now.

I felt happy that he was helping me because I knew he could have easily left me behind and get himself away from here, I hoped that everything would be alright but I needed to be careful as I knew the hunters wouldn't give up so easily especially when they were being paid well for bringing me back to who ever employed them to hunt me, I closed my eyes a little deciding to sleep as that was the best thing at that moment plus I knew I needed some rest

I made it up the steps to my house, and fumbled for my key in my pocket. After some careful balancing, and pulling my key from my pocket, I managed to get the key into the key hole, and shove the door open. I carried him inside, and lay him down on the ground near the fire place, my body rushing back to the door to shove it shut. I was panting, but I felt as if I did some good as I turned back toward the wolf. I was covered in his blood, but I didn't feel that it was time to clean up just yet. I needed to figure out how I could best help him.

I opened my eye when feeling I wasn't being carried and that I was somewhere warm, I noticed that I was inside which felt pretty nice after having lived outside since I was kicked out of the pack when I was 16 since my older brother didn't want me to try to take being alpha away from him, I looked over at the guy wondering about him mostly since he was the first human I had met that hadn't tried to kill me or anything like that which felt nice for once. I tried to move but chose to lay back down from the pain in my right shoulder and front leg.

I shook my head when the wolf tried to move. "Don't move." I said softly, standing quickly and moving to the kitchen. I got a wash cloth, and filled a bowl of water to cleanse the wound. I then moved toward the bathroom and got the tweasers out of the cabinet before returning to the wolf. "Stay still, I have to get the bullets out." I told him, taking the bottle of whiskey that I had also grabbed from the kitchen while in the room, and pouring it into a bowl for him. "Liquid courage." I muttered, taking a swig of it myself before taking some scissors and cutting away the fur so that I could see the wound. I soaked another rag in some whiskey, and began to dab at his wound with it.

I sniffed what he had placed in the bowl and wondered what it was mostly because I had never smelled it before and decided to try it a little and took a like to it. I felt pain from the wound and growled at him softly to let him know that I could feel the pain from the wound. I wasn't going to attack him because I knew he was helping me but it didn't mean I wouldn't growl at him. I continued lapping up the whiskey that was in the bowl and slowly started feeling tired and a little funny.

He growled at me, and I nodded my head. "I know it hurts, but I have to get it out." I told him, pressing the tip of the tweasers to the wounds and beginning to dig around. "I'm sorry." I muttered, making the 'aha!' noise when I was able to find the slug and fish it out of the wound. "You're lucky it wasn't a shotgun. Only a single shot." I told him, reaching for the gauze to cover the wound and keep it disinfected. "You should be on the mend, now." I don't know why I was talking to him like he could understand me -- he couldn't. Right?

I yawned a little and closed my eyes falling asleep mostly form the whiskey that he had given me, I had to admit it felt nice but I could only hope that I wouldn't end up coming out of my wolf form as that was the last thing that I wanted or needed because I didn't wish to answer any questions. After ten minuets I ended up turning into my human for luckily wearing underwear as that would likely be something I'd rather not have to explain when I woke up.

I had gotten up to rinse out the rag and throw it in the laundry room, and when I returned in the wolf's place was a man. I stopped in my tracks, my head tilting to the side as I regarded him with curious blue eyes. What the Hell was going on here? Why was he being chased? Why was he a wolf just moments before? I had questions, but I knew that he probably wouldn't want to answer any of the questions that I would have. I ran a hand over the back of my neck, and threw a blanket over his back before settling down in a kitchen chair for the night with my whiskey bottle in hand.

I woke the next morning before slowly getting up and noticed that I was in my human form, I blushed a little wondering if he had noticed me being human yet, I had noticed that there was a blanket on me and guessed that he had noticed I was human, I knew this was bad especially when was likely to be asking me questions on who I was and what was going on. I kept the blanket around me as I looked around, I walked with no trouble in my human form since none of my back legs in my wolf form were damaged.

I had risen before he had, and taken to a shower real quick before I confronted anything about how weird the previous night was. I was wearing a simply black shirt now, and black skinny jeans when I exited the bathroom. My hair was damp, and spiked near the front, blue eyes watching him as he walked around with the blanket pulled around him. I grunted, and threw the towel into the laundry room. "Hungry?" I asked, deciding to save the questions for later. In all honestly, I don't know if I wanted to know what was going on with him.
