I've been wanting to do a natural disaster type of RP for a long time now, or even a disaster like a train derailment, plane crash, something like that. I will have three ideas, two will be MxM and the other I can try to do MxF with. I am open for romance, I was just in a rush creating this thread. The couples can be at any stage in the relationship.

However do not pick the MxF if you don't like RPing MxM, that is not entirely fair and I want the ideas to each have an equal chance. Also my mind is going in a million directions, plus there are a lot of things I want to do.



The Ideas (If one idea gets multiple votes, I'll do that one and I may do the others as separate RPs)

Earthquake - You are enjoying a peaceful and supposedly relaxing vacation in Coronado and San Diego, everything seems to be going just the way you were hoping for a week of fun in the California sun. However, two days before you and your friend or significant other head back home to Massachusetts. Will you be able to survive? And will things ever be back to normal after a large, destructive earthquake? And if you are just friends, will the disaster bring you closer? (Could be either MxM or MxF)

Tornado - Tornado Alley, of course famous for many tornadoes or none at all on certain days. You are a storm chaser along with your team, while your partner is head of another team going to find the storm of a life time. However, things quickly go awry when faced with an outbreak the likes Oklahoma and Texas have never seen. And you are faced with the tough decision of chasing the storms with your team, or helping your partner who wanted to check out a Colorado storm that had tornadic potential. (MxM) (Partner means what you think. Can already be an established relationship, extent is up to my RP partner)

Plane crash/ train derailment - You and your significant other are traveling across Canada from Vancouver to Nova Scotia, with the promise of a beautiful ocean view upon arrival. Things seem to be going well once you are past Alberta, but the unexpected happens upon getting into Saskatchewan. Now you and your partner must survive, but also a small surprise also needs to be protected until help arrives. Can you survive, or will you succumb to the elements of the vast wilderness and unpredictable Canadian Prairie weather.

Hurricane - You and (insert relationship here, can be friend, boyfriend/girlfriend, wife, husband, what have you) are taking a well deserved break in a secluded resort near Acapulco and everything seems to be going well. It is a sunny day, everyone is enjoying the weather, beautiful ocean and the scenery. But then there is an unexpected event coming your way, a Cat 3 hurricane forecast to become a strong Cat 5 by the time it makes landfall. You decide you can handle it, you've come through hurricanes in Florida before. Even survived Hurricane Andrew. But can you and your friend, lover, or what have you survive a hurricane with winds over 215 miles per hour?

Feel free to offer other ideas, these are the only three I have right now. Two I really want to do, but again I'm open to more ideas.

Please let me know what does and what does not bother you if we did a MxM RP. I may change one of the plots to MxF, but right now I'm planning on it being MxM. I would love honesty, I don't want to hear you'll do anything and then be blindsided and leave the RP once I reveal the surprise of the plane crash / train derailment idea.

Goes with above. I would love if my potential RP partner or partners are open minded. Meaning you won't run for the hills because of one thing I love doing with MxM RPs.

You must have some knowledge of disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes, etc. I don't want things to be totally unrealistic, like a tornado lasting only 1 second or having super high wind speeds that don't happen in a real tornado. Or an earthquake being a magnitude that is so off the charts that it isn't realistically possible.
