As the sun sets, a herd of wild mustangs become silhouetted against the waning sunlight, just barely in the view of nearby wolf packs, Duskfall and Sunrise. They graze silently near the banks of a wide river, preparing themselves for the long journey to their fall and winter home, the flat plains near Starseeker, another group of wolves. The herd is known as 'Leotie,' or 'Flower of the Prairie.' The lead stallion lifts his head, his ears perked at attention as one of his look-outs whinnies. The stallion begins to canter over as he spots a band male who is trotting toward one of the herd's mares, putting on a display for her. But the lead stallion isn't about to give up one of his mares, especially when he's barely owned the harem for a month.

Strengths and Weaknesses + She's a strong mare {physically and mentally} + Knows how and when to take authority - Can be a tad too independent - Hates being wrong and won't admit she is wrong Personality ~ Red is a noble mare, everything she does has good intent, despite it not always going right. She's good natured and good willed, she is in no way malicious nor sadistic, just a tad temperamental and a bit of a 'know it all'. On top of this, Velvet hates being wrong, she always has to be right and will rarely admit to being wrong. The mare knows when to lead and when to follow, many considering her wise beyond her years, Red believes it's instinct and common sense. She's a modest, unassuming mare, but she knows how to take a compliment and will happily fire back if insulted. Biography ~ Red grew up a pretty regular life. Her mother a simple citizen and her father a Chief, the only unique thing was that Red's mother was an elder mare, too old to have a foal and passed during the birth, thus Red was given to a surrogate mother by her father. She grew up a happy filly, maturing quickly and learning the ways of the band. As she reached sexual maturity, Red decided to leave and find her own path in the world, she stayed alone for some time, often dropping in and out of bands, though coming up seven years of age, she believes it's time to settle down. Other ~ For those who are unaware, she's a blood bay mare. cx Try to imagine her without the halter, it was the only suitable image I could find. cx 0 players like this post!
