Much better now. (Plus I added a simple background.) Still could use some improvements, but since I was just focusing on the design, I might just leave it alone for now.
(Also found an old, unfinished head shot of him as juvenile that helped.)

And thanks! There's a long story behind them (that I probably won't be publishing anywhere), but they are my special guys and they don't deserve anything that happens to them.
The red haired one is Arrow, and he's an engineer. Initially, he's pretty immature but still friendly and a bit annoying. However, there's more to him than that, and his 'confident' act hides more than expected.
The bird guy is Kaelan. He's a puppy that wouldn't dare to damage anything, but still has the strength to break walls. He has 0 social skills but he's always there in case someone needs a listener.

Im just sitting at the computer for hours, hoping to get inspiration for a redesign of my main OC, yay art block and no current inspiration q.q

Anybody know how to almost get outta that ever annoying block? ;-; (Seriously wants to redesign OC, meanwhile practicing wolf anatomy, still can't get legs right, tips?)

When i get art block when i create a character, I do two things:

1.) Back off, keep the character at the back of your mind, and allow it to develop naturally when youre not forcing the creativity.
AND 2.)!
When you need to experiment and force creativity, draw a bunch of different characters and take what you like from bits of them and see how it looks on the oc youre trying to work on.

Well here-

Then just alter versions of things you like and know you want for your character. Change their face shape, eyes, hair, nose, bodytype- stuff like that. Just do little doodles again and again and then mash things you think will go well together for the final design .

I suppose another way id go about explaining this is consider their personality and history and think of different ways to express that.

What might help, not particularly with your of, but art block in general is just draw. Don't worry about what you're drawing, what it looks like or even what it is. The more you just stare at the same thing, the longer you'll be stuck in a loop. Once you're actually putting things down on paper, ideas and inspiration will just flow naturally.

Wings, my main OC will basically represent me, and I'm usually using pistachio patterns, white -grey base, but that's too simple and I love complex designs, but complex designs are too hard to repeat xD

@Silice Great wolf!! I think the main issue is just the positioning of the joints/bones. Wolves typically have straighter and lean legs ( https://www.kimballstock.com/pix/WOV/09/WOV_09_TL0037_01_P.JPG ) I would do a redline but I'm at school. If youw ant you(or anyone) can inbox me for a redline so i can get to it later today!
