Trade Cooldown Applied to Transfers You may have noticed that the trade cooldown which was put in place on lions has now been applied to transfers as well. This was a temporary measure to aid in preventing the possible exploitation of keeping a lion at the same age by transferring between accounts - we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. The cooldown now no longer affects lions in transfers as we added a new system to prevent that instead. The exploiters of this loophole are being handled individually according to our Terms of Service. New Features/Adjustments * You can now move multiple lions at once from cave to cave, just like you have the option to with your Unsorted lions. Simply click on "Move Lions" on your Cave's page (just above your Cave Settings) and your lion list will change to have checkboxes and your list of caves at the bottom so that you can move more than one lion at a time. Per user suggestion. * The "Remove All" button on your Branch page has been moved and given a confirmation popup to make it difficult to accidentally click on it and remove your items. Per user suggestion. * There is a new subforum of "Tree Carvings" called "Writing and Poetry" where those of you whose form of art is writing can share your works and accomplishments. Per user suggestion. (We allow sales of your writing there as well). * We have new Lifetime counters for kings - the number of lions Killed or Sent to Reserve. There are also two new leaderboards to reflect this chart. Unfortunately as we did not track this previously, everyone will be starting from 0. Note: This will reset every time you retire your king. Suggestion here. Raffles We are attempting a fix of the auto-cancelling raffles, so we will be keeping an eye on them over the next couple of days to see if they have indeed been fixed or if there are any more issues that need to be contended with. If your raffles are automatically cancelled, you will get a "For Debugging" notice at the bottom of the message that is sent to you. If you feel that your raffle was cancelled incorrectly (e.g. you had enough participants for the amount of prizes) please send the full debugging message on to Abbey (#1) so that she can investigate what could be going wrong. If your raffle is cancelled, please consider that it may be because any lions included have died in the time it's taken for us to get this fix up and running! Additionally, while we investigate, raffle expiry is staggered to a maximum of 10 raffles ending per hour. If your raffle doesn't end right away when it's already past its expiry time, please keep this in mind :) Until we are 100% sure that this bug has been fixed, we would advise not to spend lots of time and effort advertising raffles, or hosting big raffles. Instead it would be wonderful if friendship groups within Lioden would help us test out different raffle scenarios. We apologise for all the issues with raffles, but unfortunately it is extremely difficult to replicate all of the possible scenarios that could cause raffles to auto-cancel incorrectly. They seem to be working fine on the development server, which is why we are asking this on our live game. Bug Fixes * Cancelled raffles should now include the raffle ID that has been cancelled in your userlog and the notification you receive. * Cancelled raffles should now show all lion IDs that were offered as prizes in your userlog. * When winning a lion in Winner Takes All mode, you should now be able to see the lion's name in the winning notification. * Frozen cubs should no longer follow their mother around when the mother is moved to a different cave. * Any cubs that were bred by the Savage/Tsavo studs and didn't get a personality should now have a personality. If there are any stragglers that didn't get assigned a personality, please post in the bug boards and we will get a personality on them asap! * The Lion Sorting option in individual caves should now "stick" in the dropdown list - you should no longer need to keep setting it. * On lion pages, the display of available footnote icons should no longer display the red "X" twice. * [S] should no longer display in place of the padlock icon on unsorted lions. Again. * Minor text fixes. Gold Beetle Purchase/PayPal Notice If your Gold Beetles don't reach your account as quickly as they should, we would like to ask you not to open a PayPal dispute and instead send one of the admins a private message (they can be found here), open a moderator ticket, or send us an email via the Contact Staff page. Sometimes PayPal has some lag issues and the payments don't automatically connect to our server like they should, and it can work out a bit quicker if you contact us via Lioden as we tend not to check PayPal as much as we check our emails and in-game notifications :) In the event that it is PayPal acting up, we may ask you to wait longer for the payment to show up as we've sometimes offered GB to members for the actual transaction to process later on, resulting in double GB given out. (Not that you'd mind that, I'm sure ;D) Rust is now a new Oasis/Custom base. It is a Medium Countershade Red Common genetic type. There was a big big thread where people voiced their thoughts why the caves create issues for them. After a lot of thinking/talking we came up with a solution I present above - Caves aren't optional, however, they will display on your den in old-school fashion of showing your whole pride right away on the Den, albeit separated by caves. (Unsorted might appear there or not, we might poll it next week :O) This is a concept for now, as we wanted to see replies in thread - it'd be viewable by both owner and players, and still works for our loading system. Thanks so much for all the fixes and updates. The fix on the transfer cooldown is particularly appreciated - thanks so much for finding another way to prevent people exploiting, without incoveniencing all players with the cooldown <3 0 players like this post! Like? |

I am very happy with the way the caves are now. I have gotten comfortable with it and like the color scheme better. I don't want to go back to the old way when moving forward is the new direction.
