I live and breath minerals, so much so, I'm in the middle of getting my bachelors in Geology and Geophysics, with the goal of ending up with a doctorate in Geophysics. When the gems came out here on Lioden I screeched with joy. I also thought a few bases in some of my favorite gems would be amazing. Some of these would probably work better as eye colors but oh well. Common  Uncommon   Rare   I'll be adding more as I think of them! |

Amethyst is already a gem being used for eye colors, so I was creating ones out of gems that aren't already in game!  0 players like this post! Like? |

I know we have an amethyst eye color. It would be nice to have an Amethyst base color too. I think a lioness and or lion with amethyst base would look nice with amethyst colored eyes. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Draw one up? You'll need an art program that can make layers (some good free ones are FireAlpaca and Gimp), you'll need the png file of the lineart for lions, and a few references of an amethyst so you can get the colors you want from it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

they're pretty user friendly, yeah. A lot easier to get the hang of than photoshop at times. There's also plenty of help you can get in searches online. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Opal is a planned base and eye color already[based on different colors of opal]. That's why we find rough and sparkling opals in explore. The other two might be a bit too saturated, but since the gem bases are event bases, maybe. I like the Covellite shades though. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Griff I'll scrap the opal one! I wasn't sure which color of opal was going to be used, honestly, so I threw together what I thought a milky opal base would look like :) The Kutnohorite is waaaay less saturated compared to what it originally was, funny enough. The mineral itself is a really bright pink. I can certainly play around with the settings again, maybe make it a bit less bright! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I do understand not everybody like emerald or the color green. What about people that do like Emeralds and the color green? I understand that you are not going to draw it out. Then again, I can refer you to my previous statement I've made to you before-- you're more than welcome to create a base for it if you think it would be something cool to have on the site.
