[ a deformed foot which is twisted so that the sole cannot be placed flat on the ground. ] - Club foot at wikipedia - aka Congenital Talipes Equinovarus
MUTATION SUGGESTIONS: |

I agree! I've seen many animals with this, (including a book where the main character was a Wolf who had this), so this mutation makes sense! I've also seen quite a few cats with this, and even other animals, so a lion having a mutation like this seems like a no-brainer. 0 players like this post! Like? |

If I had one, it would be my mascot. I just don't agree with it not being able to be king. It could be king, but not fight as well? It would also be able to explore but it would do worse in fights.. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support! Although, it doesn't seem to be outright lethal. It could be a nice, mild mutation, like blind or eyeless. In my opinion, if an eyeless lion can survive, so can one with only an affected paw. 0 players like this post! Like? |

If you go by our king's energy they travel long distance - which I don't think a club footed king would be able to do :( if the admin team thought otherwise that'd be okay but I just don't think a hinderance such as a club foot would allow a male to become king 0 players like this post! Like? |

Mhm, it shouldn't be lethal, many animals learn to cope with it just fine. As said above, if eyeless lions can survive it, clubfoot lions can survive too. Also, suggestion: If a lioness, it could still hunt, but be more likely to fail the hunt, especially if placed alone? (If possible, if not, that's fine) If a lion, it could still become king, but be weaker at fighting? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I've changed it from being a lethal, added some about a cub possibly being able to train but having a higher than normal failure rate. I still don't believe a king could be possible. Although I would love a club foot mutation in my pride, if my king was weaker due to a club foot I think I'd pick a different lion over him. 0 players like this post! Like? |

That's what I think too, Amythealpha! Though, this would go through lots of thinking and the end result could be way different.. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Changed the first post again - added the possibility of club foot left and club foot right being different but the same mutations 0 players like this post! Like? |

Oh, I didn't mean for the possible club-footed lion to be able to hunt, patrol or be king, I just thought that if blind and eyeless lions do survive in LD, without doing those, this mutation could be like an equal to those. Right? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yep. I also have an idea for this! Since this lion has a warped foot/leg, the lions should have some things taken away. So, the lion should be able to patrol, but have less squares to do. So, since the normal lions have 10 squares, how about 4-6/7 squares, depending on their strength, stamina and etc.? With hunting, the lion should have a smaller chance on being able to hunt alone or with an apprentice, so maybe they would be better in bigger groups/patrols (this was mentioned, just trying to put it all together)? As king, it's energy would go down faster or do worse in battling. They would have to rest more in explore, and get more energy from resting as well. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Updated with the possibility of females, sub males and kings still being able to do their things. 0 players like this post! Like? |
