Welcome to Shadow Brook Farms, where the grass is green, the water is clean and the best Thoroughbreds in the country are bred and raised. The barns are top notch, with soft shavings and huge stalls and beautiful oak paneling. The dutch doors are polished to a sheen that seems unnatural and the pastures are huge. With the Triple Crown fast approaching the race horses at Shadow Brook Farms are training harder and even friends are becoming bitter rivals. Will these three races tear you apart? Rules: Anyone can control the human except the barn owner, Mr. Lawson. I will play him as an NPC This is a literate role play. Proper grammar and spelling are mandatory, but a few mistakes now and then are fine. A TS will occur every Sunday and races are held every day. When you race the stats of your Thoroughbred will be taken into account with the stats of the horses in the race, for instance if your horse's stats are strong in speed but weak in stamina you would want to enter your horse in a short race for the best outcome NO OOC ARGUING! I will not stand for that. At all. If you have an issue pm me or the player. If I catch you arguing on thread you WILL be booted. No perfect characters, god modding, power playing etc... As mentioned above we will take your horse's stats in account when racing so it's fair. Please don't make your horse ridiculously fast. Relationships are allowed BUT if you're a stud or a broodmare the barn owner will who to breed you to. Fade to black appropriately and no cursing or harassment. You will get three warnings and if it continues after that you will be booted. The Triple Crow is for three year olds, but races are run for two and four year olds Most important of all... BE NICE! Racing Name:Flightfeet Barn Name: Flight Likes: Running, Racing, competing, her owner, who rescued her from a slaughter house. Dislikes: Water being slashed around her feet, rain, enclosed spaces, Bossy stallions, loud noises Personality: A stubborn mare. She is sweet and kind, she had been told by every single owner that she is beautiful, but she doesn't think so. Looks: A Blood Bay mare, with a round scar on forehead, although it is covered up by her mane. Long tail, and a medium mane. Her coat is soft and silky. Age: 3 Breed: Thoroughbred Occupation: Running, and a broodmare History: She was sent to the slaughter house, at a young age. Her first owner thought that Flight as blind after she was born, but she wasn't. She was next in line to be shot in the head, and be dragged away. She fought back but failed. She had been shot, and was being dragged away, some how she managed to survive long enough for her soon to be owner came in. Her owner tried to take all the horses, but it was late for some. Her owner tried to find homes for all the rescues, and she did. But her owner kept her. And let her heal. From then on Flight had a scar on her head, and hated loud noises, they reminded her of gunshots, she was trained to be a racer. Which she does now.
