Asari looked at Lucifer "Don't worry about it. I tend to not flaunt my position, as I look at leading my own pride as a gift instead of something that I should just have" she would reply to him thinking she was just some rouge. "Anyways please go feast. There is plenty." Her eyes shifted back to Ari as he looked around taking note of certain things. "Are you wonderingredients why the King has yet on come an greet you?"

"My name is Shujaa." He fell into a deep bow, fit for royalty. Shujaa pricked his ears and raised from the bow. His nostrils flared taking in the scent. There was only her. Just her. No other lions.
He blinked his pale eyes and gave a low rumbling sigh. "I hope you do not mind my intrusion, I have been traveling for a long while." Shujaa's haunches dropped to the ground and he smiled softly to himself.

Mkali lowered her rump to meet with the ground, her haunches relaxing as she curled her tail over them. She returned the bow, as he seemed respectful enough to deserve one, although it was quite clear both of them weren't of royalty after she finished what she had to say. "Nice to meet you. My name is Mkali, I, too, have been traveling for quite a long time. You'd think I'd be in a pride after two years.." She said, revealing her nomadic position.

Azure recognised the scent from the large lilac coloured lion from the night before, and careful not to lose her wariness, she began t trck him, curious as to who he was.

Shujaa shook his mane and lifted one paw his claws slid out and he stretched his body. "Same. I've been in and out of prides for the last few years." He shrugged. "They don't seem to appreciate another "pointless" mouth to feed." He flicked his tail and rolled his eyes, his maw twitching slightly with a bit of amusement.
He wrapped his long tail about his limbs, his frame stretched long between the two pinnacle points. Shujaa smiled softly and twitched his ears against the flies and gnats. "It is nice to meet you Mkali."

The lioness nodded, and slipped into a more comfortable position of resting as she lied down, her head still raised high. "Oh, sorry to hear that. I'm sure you're not useless. As for me, I just have bad luck when it comes to prides, I guess." She replied, carefully licking a paw. After so much wandering day and night, her pads were very rough.

Shujaa raised his brows. "Why would you have bad luck?" He leaned forwards his ears pricked and his body straining slightly. "I was only seen as useless because I was not the heir. Eventually the heir attempts to kill me and I end up running again." He smiled slightly and tipped his head to one side. "You on the other hand, Mkali, are far from useless. You are a hunter. I can smell the blood on your face, you are a successful huntress."
Shujaa blinked and looked across the desert from where he had come. "I don't understand this life some times, it's so stupid." He raised one paw and dragged it slowly across his face. He took a long breath and growled under his breath. "Ah well. I wish you the best of luck. I'm afraid I must go on, there is much for me to do." His jaw dropped slightly and and he took in a deep breath scenting the air for any sort of prey which might be sniveling nearby.

Mkali winced as he said how she wasn't useless. Oh what little he knew. As the male said he had to leave, she jumped up from the ground. "Oh, of course. If we ever meet again, I'll have to share a meal with you sometime." She said, a smile spread across her maw as she watched him curiously.

"Good luck Mkali, you deserve it ma'm." He dipped his head and bowed once more. A low rumble rose in his throat, something like a purring roar. "No matter what you think, you are far from useless. No matter what kings may think." He smiled slightly and rose to his paws. "Remember that you deserve more. No lion deserves to be without a home. Good luck."
Shujaa stepped away, smiling softly. As hungry as he was he knew he had to leave. He was surrounded by trouble, the terrible lions were following him. The last thing he needed was to endanger a innocent lioness. His maw twitched slightly into a grimace, he felt ashamed to even have had come this general direction. But he could not have chosen then.
Shujaa grunted and flicked his tail, looking at her over his shoulder. "Good luck Mkali, I hope no trouble comes your way."

Mkali turned away, what a strange lion. Ah, well, it didn't hurt to talk to someone once in a while. She padded off, heading to the faint shade of a shrub.

Zenith lunged at the cheetah, screeching loudly. He felt claws thrash at his chest, and he snarled viciously and clamped his jaws around the spotted feline. His opponent yowled and shrieked as he dug thorn-sharp claws into it's shoulders. Zenith prepared a mighty paw and gripped the side of it's face, before ripping a large clump of fur off of it's cheek. It then slashed at his underbelly and bit his ear with small jaws, tearing a chunk off. He roared, but bared the pain, grabbing it by the chest and using all of his weight to drag it down on it's side, a thump sounding as it hit the ground. He kept his paw on it's shoulder, claws unsheathed, digging into it's fur and past the skin. He bent down and wrapped his jaws tightly around it's throat, ripping it's windpipe clean out of it's neck and tossing it past Arden. A quick, painful death. He licked the metallic velvet off of his maw as he padded toward Arden.

The large male watched in amusement, blood spattered onto his nose. He licked it off, not caring if it was the cheetah's, or Zenith's. As the adolescent finished his quick task, he nudged him back toward the corpse, before turning away to head back to the pride. "Bring that, we can pelt it later. If you can kill it, I'm sure you can drag it as well." He ordered.

Lucifer nodded, and went to join the feast eagerly, greeting a few lions and lionesses and they walked past before he sat down. He picked up a small carcass, before tearing into it with great skill and delicateness, before sectioning it into smaller segments and eating it.

Ari jumped slightly as Asari adressed him, he looked to his side to realise that Lucifer was no longer by his side.
"Oh, yes I was kind of wondering that. But I am sorry, it must be rude of me to think like that." Ari spoke, quietly but loud enough to hear.
