His tail stayed high in the air, posing a more dominant position. The sound of moving had made him suddenly go into this position. He had been on his average patrol, and had just heard the noise of a possible intruder. His ears perked, swiveling on top of his head slightly to find where the noise had came from. The next thing he knew, a hare had ran from a nearby bush to running away from him. His instincts told him to chase down the hare, so he did. He quickly ran after it, not really thinking but just doing. He had been mostly wolf, and had been raised to be like a wolf, so hunting wasn't new to him.
The crisp wind of fall brushed across his face and around his fur. It had smelled like dead leaves for days now, and it had been because fall had just started. The leaves quickly flee the ground, flying everywhere as Musaki zoomed past, in hot pursuit of the Brownish white hare. He noticed it was changing pelts, since it was almost winter, but hadn't fully had the chance to gain it's winter pelt. The hare was just within reach, he extended his right paw, cuffing the hare and making it crash due to him tripping it. He followed the weary hare, instantly going for it's neck as it squealed loudly. With one powerful bite, the sounds of the hare had banished. It's dead.. he thought as he felt the loose fur of the hare in his mouth. It had went numb, the lifeless body of the hare now dangled in Musaki's large jaws.
I should head back to the camp. thoughts roamed his mind, wondering if he will see his sister there, or if she had already left to hunt. He trotted quickly to the direction of the camp. It hadn't tooken him that long to make it to camp. When he entered the camp, it had seem like it was a ghost town. He hadn't seen anyone. He slowly padded over to the kill pile, depositing the hare. Then he walked over to the den his sister slept in, hoping she would be there. When he entered, he saw the pite black fae, sleeping in the corner of the den. Her pelt raised and fallen, her breathing was normal and it was a bit happy he knew his sister had been sleeping well. I hope she slept well at least... his mind thought, walking over to her and laying besides her as he rests his head on hers gently.
He felt her move, awaking from her sleep. " I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to wake you." his voice soft and nurturing. He gave her ear a soft lick, greeting her. "If you need me I'll be outside, maybe we both can eat together." he said with a soft tone. He then padded out the den, not knowing what he should do. Maybe I should get her some food before she comes out. he thought solemnly. He went across the camp, heading for the kill pile in search for something that may feed two "wolves".
Koi | Female | Hunter | Mentions: Musaki, (Open)
The fae had been sleeping peacefully in the hunter's den. It has been the best sleep she's had since her and her brother had lost their mother. She couldn't bare the nightmares she had almost every night since that moment. Luckily last night she had a dream this time instead of a nightmare. It had been about a pack mate, Hades... The thought of him made her shiver. When she first met him, he seemed like a powerful dog. Someone that is willing to fight for what's right.
She had to admit, she had found him quite attracting. Her head shook slightly, her eyes tightening at the thought. No.. He would never like a fae like me. One that sulks so much about the past.. she bitterly thought. And plus, he's a beta. There are fare more worth females then me to be with him. The thought brought heart ache. She desperately needed a companion, someone she could call hers. She knew her brother was there for her, but she knows that he soon will find a mate for himself, and she would be left alone.
Just as the thought played in her mind, she felt the muzzle of another on her head. Making her flinch at the suddeness of the touch. He eyes opened, weariness showed as she opened them slowly to see her brother." It's fine Musaki, I was already awake." she said, not wanting her brother's aid. It was about time she started doing things on her own. It was as if she were a pup, and her brother being the father figure, always spoiling her. She watched as he left the den, her mouth opened slightly as she yawned.
She raised to her paws, streching her hind leg a bit as she stride though the entrance of the den and out. I better get to work, or else I'll get in trouble. her mind thought, but it soon went away as she watched the clouds passed over head. It's still dawn. So maybe everyone is still sleeping. The new thought now dominating her mind. She decided to sit at the entrance of the den, in wait for someone to tell her what she needed to do or when her brother decided to come back with food.
