A grin spread over the toms face and he jumped up and down for a moment, "Thank Starclan! You're my life savor!" he squeaked excitedly. Feeling suddenly embarrassed, he looked down at his paws and regained his composure. Rustheart| Tomcat | Warrior| Whisperclan Rustheart tried to suppress the yawn forming in his throat but to no avail. He opened his maw wide, letting out a loud yawn and dropping the small mole he had caught. For having left camp so early in the morning, he didn't have much luck hunting. All that he had caught was this small mole and now it was covered in dirt and dead grass. Rustheart shrugged, food is food I guess he thought to himself as he lifted the measly carcass off the ground once more. Continuing on his path back to the camp, Rustheart didn't pay much attention to anything in particular. He was mostly fixated on the clouds in the sky as he walked along. That was until he walked into a young tree. He shook his head as if to shake the pain away. When he looked back out, he almost jumped with excitement. "Ha ha! Finally I can actually SEE the camp!" he yelled through the furry morsel in his jaws. He hadn't ventured out of the territory, he had just gon to the very edge, marked a few spots, attempted to catch prey, and walked back. He stumbled a few steps forward, his headache from the scrap with the tree barely subsiding. Then, when he could regain his balance he sprinted for the camp. Maybe he was too excitable, but his spirits rose a great deal feeling the wind run through his fur and the burning of his muscles as he ran. Icefur | she cat | warrior | Whisperclan Icefur padded silently across the camp. She rotated and flicked her good ear to the sounds of a few chattering cats. Her eyes fixated on one thing, A nearby bush. She hadn't had much to do and she thought that if she could get there without being noticed, she could sleep the day away and not get caught. It seemed to have the right amount of leaves in the right places to allow optimal sunlight and peaceful shadow at the same time. Icefur slinked closer until she was only a few paw steps away. Stopping slightly to observe the ground and leaves around and on the bush before crawling inside and curling up. She kept her eyes open and ears perked in case she was called or needed for one reason or another and layed there. Soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. 0 players like this post! She whipped around and almost relaxed when she recognized Sagepaw, but her heart seemed to stop when she heard what the apprentice had to say. "S-she's dead? But... it can't be!". We will honor the name Harestar for many moons to come, and as the vigil takes place, I will be going to StarClan to gain my lives and name.
