The tom looked down at the dead body and felt bad...He didn't knew the cat,but of course,who wouldn't feel bad for someone dead? Sunstripe gazed over at the deputy again,and sighed. "I believe it's pretty strange. Actually,the leader accepted me into Jadeclan on his way to get his nine lives. We couldn't have a proper meeting,so... He doesn't know me at all,yet accepted me. I don't want any offense to be taken. It's not like I didn't want a Clan. I hope he's going to introduce me to the Clan later..."

Rustheart walked over to his sister and plopped down next to her, a small cloud of dust staining her white fur brown. She scoot over and glared at him, before looking back up to the Ryestar. Rustheart gave a light-hearted chuckle before focusing his attention on the leader as well, awaiting her words.

Icefur gave her brother a cold look after he had soiled her coat, which she had finished cleaning not too long ago. He did seem to lighten her mood though, as always. She looked up to the leader's hill where Ryestar stood waiting to speak. Icefur and Rustheart both sat a bit further from the hill than every one else. They always sat at the edge of the crowd, moving closer only when needed. The two were close, as close as two siblings could be, but their relationship seemed somewhat hostile to those around them at times. Of course that wasn't the case, they just shared the same dry humor. Rustheart was just more optimistic than her.

The she-cat smiled at the tom and curled her tail around her paws, "I see. Well, as you already know I'm Mottlefire and our new leader is Stormstar. I can introduce you to the rest of the clan, if you'd like. I'm sure they are dying to know who you are." she mused. Glancing around, she tried to find Littlecloud, the only other warrior she knew very well. Of course there was Tinyheart, Jadeclan's medicine cat. "There are several other warriors in the Clan and a couple of kits. But from the looks of it, Bluefeather has just given birth." she said thoughtfully, her gaze drifting over towards the nursery. "Bramblefur, have you heard the news about the new kits? It's about time we got some new kits." she said, glancing towards Willowkit. Willowkit was one of three kits that were currently living in the nursery, all almost six moons old and about to become apprentices. There was always need for new kits, they made things interesting.

Ryestar climbed the Leader's Hill, yowling a summon. (Haven't decided on what the summon is yet) "Cats of WhisperClan, Harestar has been properly mourned, and I have made my decision on who will follow in my pawsteps as deputy. I say these words before the spirit of Harestar, so that she may hear and approve of my choice. Rustheart will be the new deputy of WhisperClan,".

Rustheart almost burst with joy when Ryestar said announced him as the new deputy. "Thank you Ryestar, I'm honored." He said after collecting himself. "I promise to serve and protect whisperclan with my life! Thank you so much." he thanked Ryestar again for good measure. This was something he had wanted since he was a kit. His eyes welled up with tears, and his sister nudged him on the shoulder and he turned his head to her a toothy grin on his face. He imagined their parents looking down on him proudly.

" Congradulations Rustheart." Icefur said nudging him on his shoulder. She was actually surprised that he was starting to tear up. She smiled at him, "You big baby." She added jokingly. Icefur knew how much Rustheart had wanted to be deputy and she really was proud of him. She turned her attention back to Ryestar, her good ear turned towards Rustheart.

Ryestar flicked her tail to the spot next to her on Leader's Hill, motioning for Rustheart to stand beside her. A wide smile was on her face, and her own heart beat quickly. She'd made the right choice. She was certain.

Rustheart nodded to the leader and stood. He paced towards the hill and stopped beside her. He held his head high and proudly. His heart beat like a drum in his chest and his face burned from smiling so much.

The black apprentice's muzzle parted in a smile and he leaped up to on his paws. Striding towards the newly appointed deputy, he called out, "Congratulations, Rustheart!" The tom was proud to call this cat his new deputy, and he hoped that he would accept his congratulations. Sitting down again, he turned towards Ryestar in case she said anything additional.

Ravenstrike blushed as she brushed against Rustheart, she took a step back quickly, murmuring an apology under her breath. She turned around and sat next to Nightpaw, watching as the tom tripped over himself, she giggled quietly, seeing all his positive energy made her feel happier. Her attention was drawn to Ryestar as she yowled for attention, Ravenstrike sat up briskly, her eyes full of nervous anticipation. A pang of grief hit her as she announced that Harestar had been murdered, she stifled a cry of sorrow. Of course, she had known that the former leader was dead, she just didn't know why she was, it made her upset to know that she had been killed so brutally. Her ears perked up as she announced the new deputy, she gave Rustheart a warm smile, hesitating for a moment before padding over. She waited until he had finished speaking with their leader, then looked up at him; apprehensively meeting the tom's eyes. "Congratulations Rustheart!" She meowed, confused as to why she felt butterflies in her stomach.

Littlekit || She-Kit || Kit || Jadeclan ||

Littlekit heard another piercing mew, she turned blindly towards where the noise was coming from, snuggling deep into the other kit's fur (Ashkit). Milky scents washed over her, and now that she was properly fed, and was snuggled into her sibling's side she began to drift off. She was soon in a deep sleep, her legs twitched ever once in a while and she began to grow increasingly cold.

Rustheart blushed when Ravenstrike congratulated him. His heart fluttered and he bowed his head in thanks. His smile only growing wider now. Rustheart glanced at Ryetail and waited for her to continue.

Ashkit let out a quiet purr. She felt calmed down. She relaxed by her sister's side. Ashkit was bigger than her sister but her sister gave off a strong, comforting feeling. She drifted to sleep her breaths in sing with Littlekit's.

"Oh,mhm,I found out already. Although in a weird way,from a kit I can't see around anymore..." The tom shrugged and rolled his eyes,while smiling.
