We should go and visit them." she suggested, raising to her paws. She flicked her tail, beckoning Sunstripe to follow her. Mottlefire lead him to the nursery and poked her head in, her gaze settling on Bluefeather and the five kittens that lay next to her. "Congratulations, Bluefeather! They're so adorable!" she said in awe, moving over a little to allow the new warrior to look at the newly born kittens. He gazed all around it,observing the textures of den then back to the kits. He moved closer and tried figuring out their patterns,which intrigued him the most. He gazed at the mother and blinked his eyes. He smiled and sat down besides the deputy. "I'd be really excited if I'd get to mentor one of thooose!" Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan Mottlefire laughed again and shook her head softly, glancing at Sunstripe. "I'm sure you will be mentoring one of these. We have to have a naming ceremony soon." she told him, looking at the kits again. They were just too cute. She hoped that one day she would have some nuggets of her own, but a suitable mate was still yet to be found. Sunstripe was so fluffy that they almost didn't both fit in the opening, but Mottlefire didn't mind allowing Sunstripe to have a little bit more of a view. She wondered briefly what Littlecloud would think about her promotion to Deputy, but she hadn't seen her come back from the hunting they had done. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan With one last glance at the kits, she pushed all thoughts of her own kits out of her mind and followed Sunstripe out. Showing the tom around was not a bad suggestion, so she slowly nodded her head. "No I have nothing to do," she paused for a moment and looked towards the dead body of Fallenstar, "I'll show you the territory first." With another flick of her tail she lead the tan and white tan from camp and towards the territory. Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan Mottlefire lead the tom to the stream that was lined by thinner trees, due to the fact that they were subjected to much more sunlight. "Come, we have to cross the stream." she encouraged, walking boldly into the stream and across to the other side. The deepest part of the stream came up past only slightly higher than her stomach. In the winter, the cats had to learn tactics to cross the stream quickly and safely when frozen over. "In the winter it is quite a drag, but usually if it gets cold it freezes over. A little bit farther down the stream there are some rocks that you can use when the water is too high or too cold, but it is easier to just cross here, as it is closer to the camp." she explained to Sunstripe. 0 players like this post! Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan Mottlefire laughed as she looked over at the smaller tom, shaking her head in amusement. "I'll show you the rocks on the way back, if you'd like. Sometimes I forget that the stream could be scary for some, but after a while you get used to it." the new deputy's face fell for a look of concern. But the tom seemed to make it out of the stream alive. Mottlefire lead the tom through the thick trees. It was pretty dark down here, but once again, she was very accustomed to the darkness of their forest. For someone new, it could be pretty hard to get used to, "Stick close to me and I will make sure that you will make it through okay." The tree trucks were large and their roots often made obstacles, but there was a little path on the ground that zig zagged its way through the forest. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"The trees and canopy are so big that the sun can hardly come through to the ground. But lucky for us, rodents love this kind of surroundings." she explained, looking up at the thickly leafed trees. "It's light in the winter though, when all the leaves are all gone." she added, hoping that it would lift his mood. It only took a few minutes until they came to the end of the thick trees and the trees began to thin. In front of them loomed the moors, which was home to Whisperclan. "No offense,but I love the view." He stared at the moor and sat down,somehow the landscape made him relax more. He sighed and blinked repeatedly before lashing his tail and shaking his head. ((Svenny just gave me an opening like)) Littlecloud|She-cat|Warrior|Jadeclan She turned her head, being broken from the lure of Whisperclan's grounds. Blue eyes fixated on two figures not that far, maybe a fox length away. She squinted soon pouncing lunging herself at the unknown feline in an attempt to pin him. "Hi!" she practically barked at the unknown feline's face, glancing at the fellow accompaniment, whom was Mottlefire. She flicked an ear. Bluefeather|She-cat|Queen|Jadeclan The queen simply let out a soothing purr, giving the kits a few grooms before shifting the closer to her. Her gaze softened with a smile, her tail flicked as Mottlefire congratulated her, eyes glanced to the tom with her as she left. With a sigh she wrapped her tail adjusting to a small curl around the newborn, doing her best to keep her stomach exposed in the process of doing this. 0 players like this post! Like? |
