He figured out it'd be better if he just kept looking at the cat until the deputy would give him any signal. Though he couldn't just keep silent,so he meowed quickly:"Hi." Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan Sunstripe was right, it was a very beautiful view. But she would never try and hunt on Whisperclan territory, not because it was forbidden, but because she just had no idea how to. She didn't understand how the cats could catch anything, how did the prey not see the cats coming? Shaking her head to clear her thoughts she said, "Oh no, it's not an offense. It is very beautiful." she admitted. She heard the shaking of leaves to their right and she turned her head to watch as Littlecloud came out of the woods. Being her awkward self, she ran to the cat and screamed in his face. Mottlefire couldn't help but let out a soft laugh, shaking her head in amusement. "Littlecloud, this is Sunstripe. Sunstripe this is Littlecloud." she introduced. "Excuse her behavior, sometimes she can be a little bit... forward." Mottlefire tried to explain without being mean. His lips upturned into a wide smile and he flicked his tail,relaxing,before scratching behind his ear quickly and rolling his eyes. He puffed and shook his head,trying to get rid of the flea. Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan Mottlefire's eyes widened in surprise when she saw Sunstripe jump into the air, swiping at bugs that she didn't even notice anymore. "I was in fact showing him around territory. Come on, let's keep walking. I promised you I'd show you the rocks on the way back." she said, nudging Littlecloud to come with them. I thought I'd get to see the whole territory. Or was this all?" He blinked repeatedly,looks like this became a new habit of his. Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan "This border goes on for a long time. I'll lead you a different way from where we came, but for someone new it all looks the same. I don't want to overwhelm you so it's better to only look at the territory in parts. Tomorrow or later I'll send out a patrol to show you the other side of our territory that borders with Whisperclan, although it looks very much like this." Mottlefire explained to him, gracefully leaping over the roots that were in the way. It was easier to ignore the flies, as they were pretty much always there. "I guess you can compare them, but the flies don't bite you. They just eat the dirt off of you and fly around in your ears. As for those fleas... we will give you something for that." she tried to reassure Sunstripe that it wouldn't be too bad. The deputy remembered the territory that was behind the camp and thought quietly to herself that she would show that to him tomorrow. It could be a little bit too much for someone, it had taken her almost a moon to see every part of the territory and learn it by heart. She glanced at Littlecloud's bird and was suddenly reminded of the game they had played earlier, "I brought back three catches, how many did you catch?" she asked, Mottlefire's competitive side coming out slightly, getting ready to boast if necessary. 0 players like this post! Littlecloud said shifting her tail. Dropping the bird and picking it back up, a smug look on her face as she stared at Mottlefire then Sunstripe hearing his words. He followed her,jumping from one root to another,until he tripped over one and falled over. He groaned and got up,then narrowed one eye at the root,before jumping back on it and continuing his root-game. He looked up at a thick low branch and unsheathed his claws. Sunstripe jumped on the tree and managed to grab the thick branch then leapt on it. "Was there anything serious going on in Whisperclan territory?" she asked, needing to know what they were up to. Flicking her tail she resumed her original course, leading them through the forest until the path in between the trees spread out slightly wider, making it easier for them to walk. At least, they didn't have to trip over roots or jump over them anymore. They could simply walk through. She knew this meant that the stream was coming up. As a matter of fact, if one listened close enough, one could hear the soft rumble of water. "Stormstar came back from getting his nine lives and we sat vigil for Fallenstar. She definitely smelt of lavender." she told Littlecloud, remembering that they had gone to get lavender to made Fallenstar smell good. 0 players like this post! Like? |

He pricked his ears to hear the stream rumbling silently. He looked straight forward,his face turning somehow serious. He cracked his neck and flexed his claws before leaving them sheathed. He fastened his pace until he was running so that he could jump easier over the stream. He leapt over the stream,and landed,fortunately.
