Bramblefur noticed the sparkle in her eyes. His ears turned hot and he nodded. "Let's leave them be." He backed out of the nursery, nudging the deputy gently. "Thank you for letting us see them, Bluefeather. They are the cutest things." The warrior continued to back out of the nursery until he was in the clearing to the camp. The usual smells of camp seemed much sharper now that he was outside of the nursery. He turned to Mottlefire, and couldn't help but remember the thoughts he had had while inside the nursery. Mottlefire would make a good mother, he had to admit.

Bramblefur followed Mottlefire. That was the tom he had seen around a couple times. And now there was another new cat... He was just a step behind the deputy and when she nudged him, he spoke. "I'm Bramblefur. I'm a warrior here. Might I ask who you are?" The tom's question was mainly directed at the new she-cat, but he hoped to get further clarification on the tom as well.

Stormstar watched as the new warrior, Sunstripe, padded into the camp. He stood to call a meeting, but soon saw another follow him. Leaping down from his place on The Stump, he padded over and followed behind Mottlefire and Bramblefur. Once the dark warrior had finished, Stormstar spoke. "I'm Stormstar, leader here. Sunstripe, is she with you?"

Hawkrain followed Ryestar into the log. "Sometimes I like to come here and take a nap." He gave a small laugh. "You know how busy and loud camp can get in greenleaf and newleaf." The warrior let his eyes wander around the familiar place. Not many of the clan came out here. He felt as if this part of the territory was mostly his. Of course, he didn't see how JadeClan could put up with so dense of a forest. But these few trees? They seemed perfect to the large russet warrior. "What do ya think?" With his question directed at the leader, Hawkrain settled down in a spot, wrapping his tail over his paws.

Hawkrain nodded his head. "Though there's usually only mice and squirrels." He knew she was asking if it would be a good place to send hunting patrols. And it could be. He just hoped that not many patrols would come through here. Of course, the dawn and dusk patrols did to check the border. But that was different than hunting. But he rid his head of those thoughts. And focused on the here and now. He gave a purr in her direction. "I'm glad you like it."

Hawkrain felt his ears heating at the intensity of her gaze. Though his purr continued to rumble in his chest. "You're welcome out here anytime. If you can't find me in camp, I'm usually out here." The warrior smiled at her and hope his point was being made. He was finding that he'd really love to spend much more time with the newly made leader.... They were hitting it off pretty well...

Stormstar returned the greeting to Mottlefire. "It went well. I mainly wanted to welcome him." The leader's voice was very quite, only to his deputy. But he then noticed the look she was giving Bramblefur. He smiled to himself. It seems something was blossoming between the two. He hoped it all ended well. They looked really good together.

Bramblefur started to give a greeting to Stormstar, but was stopped when Mottlefire smiled at him. He almost melted. It took all he had to not rub his head along her cheek while he purred. But he kept his composer and gave her a warm and welcoming look. There was something there... It was in the air between them. So thick, that you could slice it with a claw. But it wasn't bad. It was so nice that Bramblefur wanted to keep it with him everywhere he went.

Hawkrain nodded. "You're right. Let's go." He was slightly disapointed. It was an emotion he was unused to feeling. He was very much a "go-with-the-flow" kind of cat. But Ryestar was going to be very busy now that she was leader. How often would they get moments like this? The previously unemotional cat now turned and gave a small purr and pressed his nose tip to the leader's ear. He then turned and padded out of the log, his own ears burning hot.
