Ravenstrike glanced over at the apprentice, then at Stormflash, although it was supposed to be just the two of them perhaps one more could tag along. Besides four was still a relatively small party, she could stick by Darkpaw's side and show him some moves whilst still hunt with the others. She smiled at Stormflash, and then nodded towards Darkpaw as if saying that it was his call.

Darkpaw's face spread to a grin at the thought of finally being able to go out into the open and beautiful moors that they called home. "As long as I get to go out, everyone is welcome!" he said cheerily, his orange eyes sparkling with excitement. He was a rather odd cat, his moods changed drastically within a few heartbeats, depending on the circumstance. In this circumstance, it changed drastically for the better. The black tom dipped his head respectfully to the new deputy. Although he did not feel awkward taking charge and saying it was alright for others to come, he simply felt bad. He felt bad that he was taking that away from Rustheart. Darkpaw knew that Rustheart was the one that was supposed to make those decisions. His gaze flickered towards Stormflash, who had invited himself along. The more cats, the merrier.

Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan

Mottlefire watched Stormstar welcome to new she-cat into their clan, the purr radiating from his chest a little bit contagious. She could feel the urge to purr along with him, although she forced the sound down. Instead, she smiled warmly at Moonfeather and shot Sunstripe a grin, knowing that having a sister would make settling into the clan a whole lot easier. Flicking her tail, she turned her attention back on Stormstar, debating whether or not she should mention the naming ceremonies. The thought of naming ceremonies had her mind racing back to the kits in the nursery, and back to the feeling of wanting some of her own. One day she would be watching as her kits received their names, and oh how proud she would be. Deciding against it, she figured that he would name them when he thought was right, she didn't want to seem too nagging. Finally, she turned her full attention towards Bramblefur, a sly grin crossing her face. "What about a quick border patrol before the gathering?" she suggested, a mysterious look flickering in her eyes. She should have suggested to take Moonfeather along with them, but frankly, she just wanted to be alone with Bramblefur.

Upon hearing Mottlefire's question, Bramblefur turned to Stormstar. When the leader nodded, Bramblefur turned towards the deputy, a smile plastered on his face. "Sure!" He padded towards the exit of camp, letting his tail drape over the deputy's shoulder as he padded past her. With a certain spring in his step, Bramblefur headed out of camp, stopping just outide the exit to wait on Mottlefire. His heart was thrumming his chest. Just him and Mottlefire! The warrior felt like purring. He did feel a little bad about not inviting Sunstripe or his sister, but the feeling didn't stay long.

Stormstar turned to Mottlefire when she mentioned a patrol. Usually you took more than two cats.... Then it hit him, the deputy wanted time with Bramblefur. Stormstar nearly laughed, but he held it back as Bramblefur turned to him with wide eyes. Stormstar would do nothing but nod his head. All he could thing was about how they looked like two apprientices with their first crush. He watched the warrior nearly skip out of camp before stopping to wait on Mottlefire.

Mottlefire | She-cat | Deputy | Jadeclan

Mottlefire gave Stormstar a crooked smile as she followed Bramblefur's gaze. She knew that Stormstar understood her want to be alone with the tom, she could clearly see the amusement in his eyes. When she felt Bramblefur's tail brush over her shoulder, an evident shiver ran through her body. Blushing softly, she glanced at her paws for a moment before following suit. Though Mottlefire was generally an affectionate cat, she often got embarrassed at displaying that affection openly. Joining the tom outside of camp, she finally relaxed. Now they would have ample time to spend time with each other. "Where's your favorite place to go?" she questioned, glancing around to decide which direction they should take. The deputy looked up at him, her blue eyes shining in the evening light. Looking at him in this light made her stomach do a flip. He seemed to glow, the sun illuminating the black and orange patches of his fur. Why is he so handsome? Mottlefire thought to herself.

"I'm sure we're a great addition to the Clan." She smirked before smiling innocently. She's happy she'll reveal her true sarcastic nature. She just wants to be herself. She watched the two cats leave the camp and tried to understand what's happening. Then she understood. She shrugged the thought off anyways as a tiny purr formed in her throat as she thought she'd be around more cats.

Stormflash looked at the apprentice. "Thank you." Stormflash replied softly before looking back to see Emberheart had wandered of and caught her eye giving her the okay to go without her. Stormflash sighed at her sisters antics but made no move to do anything about the she-cat.

"We're off then right?" Rustheart said. The question was somewhat rhetorical as the excited tom had begun to move towards the camp's edge, slowly but surely. He kept his eyes on the other three cats as he did so.

Icefur stood up after finishing her meal. She looked to see her brother, Ravenstrike, Darkpaw, and Stormflash standing together. She perked her ears to listen, A patrol, huh? she didn't really feel like going now that it was darker, her blue eyes darted towards her 'hiding spot' and she pondered whether she should go back to her nap or not. She lost herself in thought an zoned out for a bit.

The brown she-cat lost interest in the newcomers fairly quickly and sat in front of the warriors den. Her fluffy tail tapping the ground as she searched the area for something more to do. Her stomach growled and she began to head over to the fresh kill pile, but then remembered the new mother in the queens den. Her gaze traveled across the camp until it came upon the queens den and she trotted over to it. The smell of milk entered her nose and she couldn't help but let out a nostalgic sigh. Her eyes took a second to adjust to the lighting in the den and she could make out the bodies of Bluefeather and her tiny kittens. Hollowfur opened her mouth to speak but she froze up a little. She didn't know Bluefeather that well and now that she was in the den she felt as though she had invaded the queens space. " Uhh. Hello... I came to ask you," she said finally, her words were quiet and soft, "Would you like anything from the fresh kill pile?" she finished in a whisper.

The black coated tom followed after the deputy, a skip in his stride. He was so exuberant that it was almost obnoxious. All he wanted to do was to please everyone and to be able to learn how to hunt and fight better. What was so wrong with that? He wanted to be a better warrior for his Clan, and the only way that would happen was if he would actually get some training. Darkpaw, though with a skip, kept in stride with Ravenstrike, who he had adopted as his new mentor. Upon hearing Rustheart's question, the tom thought for a moment. He would go practically anywhere, except that creepy corner next to Jadeclan where the monsters came from. The apprentice shuddered at the stories of the horrid beasts that came in the middle of the night and took cats from their dens so quietly that no one woke up. There hadn't been an incident since he was old enough to remember, so he did not know what the fear felt like, but he sure was afraid for that to happen. "Anywhere's good." he mused, glancing in the direction of the forest. He wondered briefly what it was like to live under the darkness of the canopy, how it was like to be Jadeclan, but his mind did not stay there long.

Bramblefur glanced around them. "Wherever you are." The words left his mouth before he could filter them. His eyes widened and his ears grew hot with embarrassment. "I--I mean..." The warrior fumbled for words for a moment, trying to collect himself. But when Mottlefire turned those beautiful eyes to him, he was caught dead in his tracts. He had to learn to get a grip on himself before this overtook him! But she was such a pretty cat. He couldn't help but become tongue-tied around her.

Ravenstrike smiled at all of the cats around her, she was excited for their little hunting party and Darkpaw's enthusiasm amused her. "Right," she said, padding quickly to catch up with Rustheart, for a moment she was a little speechless, not sure on what to say "thank you for coming along, I'm glad you could be here." She purred at last, her eyes widening at what had just slipped from her mouth. She glared at her paws, hoping that he wouldn't be too weirded out by her motives.

Rowantail yawned, stood and stretched, he hadn't slept well the last few nights and the lack of sleep seemed to be getting to him. He trudged across the camp, tawny eyes focused on his paws instead of where he was going. He let out a yelp as he smashed into another cat, his now ample eyes flickering up to see Emberheart. His stomach fluttered for a brief moment "Sorry!" He exclaimed, ears swiveling nervously to check if she was okay.

Emberheart ran into someone and squeaked in surprise she really should have been paying more attention to where she was going looking at the cat she ran into noticing who it was her ears began to heat up. "It's okay, you not hurt are you?" Emberheart asked she couldn't stop the burning of her ears as she began to feel more embarrassed about what had happened though she preferred running into him over any other cat that may end up being a bit more angry about running into one and another.

The tom sighed and glanced at his sister."I'm going hunting,see ya later!". He meowed in a rush before leaping out if the camp and into the forest. He slowed down into a walking pace and constantly pricked his ears. Once he reached the border with Whisperclan he sat down. The view was just impeccable. He relaxed and laid down before starting to flex his claws.

At the three words that Bramblefur said 'wherever you are', her heart somersaulted and she could feel herself melt. Mottlefire's blue eyes were fixated on his icy orbs, her jaws parting slightly, at a loss for words. She stared at him for a long moment, the surprise plain in her eyes. The deputy was in awe of the tom. The surprise slowly changed to amusement upon hearing him stumble for words. When he stumbled for words, a soft laugh floated from her. How could someone who didn't know what to say, say the right thing? The words had made her feel more confident about herself and had made her fall head over heels for the tortoiseshell tom. Amusement finally faded away to an affectionate glow, the skin around to her eyes scrunched slightly, giving her face a warm, happy look. With her eyes still locked on his, she walked towards him. Without taking her eyes off of his, she curled her tail around his neck for a moment before snaking it along his body until it reached his flank. She knew exactly where she wanted to take him. Turning her head towards him she purred, "Well then you better follow me and keep up."

Darkpaw's eyebrows show up as he watched Ravenstrike and Rustheart. There was an amusement smile on his face as he realized that the two of them were crushing hard. It took all of his strength not to laugh. Not that it was weird to think about them liking each other, it was just funny to him because the way they acted around each other. But, it was pretty cute. "Oh this is going to be good." he murmured to himself, a grin crossing his face. He followed the patrol, his jaws parted so he could take in any scents that were around him. At first Darkpaw couldn't scent anything, until the smell of rabbit drifted towards him. It was a weird rabbit smell though, not the usual plump fatty smell that came along with them. This one was... frightening. It smelled dead, in fact he was pretty sure it smelt rotten. Glancing around, he wondered if the others could smell it to.

A large grin made it's way across his face at Ravenstrike's words. "I'm happy to be here with you." he responded with whatever confidence he had. He couldn't deny that he was getting flustered but he really did like how he felt around her. A putrid smell hit his nose and the smile faded into a grimace of disgust. He looked at Darkpaw who seemed to have also smelled it. He slowed his pace and glanced at his surroundings trying to spot the source.

For whatever reason, her heart fluttered at his response and without warning, there was a quiet purr deep in her chest. She saw Darkpaw's expression, his raised eyebrows, and her face grew hot. She opened her mouth to speak, but instead of words she found herself practically gagging. "Is... Is that rabbit?!" She gasped, scrunching up her face to try and stop the foul smell from reaching her nose and mouth.

He stepped back, studying her face for a moment, "I'm fine" he said, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "are you hungry? Did you want to get a bite to eat?" He had wanted to say something, to perhaps break the ice, but when he opened his mouth that was what tumbled out. He felt his ears heat up, his face fell a little, why did he bother asking? What she-cat would ever want to eat with a clumsy tom like him?
