Hearing her call him daddy made a bit of pride swell up inside the tom, then, he looked over at Fallenstar, wondering if he was allowed to adopt the young kit. Glancing at the two queens, he chuckled "Well, they aren't really your mommies, but if you want to call them that, you might want to get their approval on that young kit." Tinyheart mewed lightly before laying down.

"I'm sure you'll get a great mentor, Brightkit." Just as he spoke, Harestar appeared. At her command to go on patrol, he nodded. "Of course, Harestar." After a quick dip of his head, he turned to search the camp. "Jaypaw, come on! Patrol." Hawkrain glanced around for his apprentice. Where was that cat?

Upon hearing the little kitten talk, Fallenstar's heart melted. "Well, isn't she a cutie?" Fallenstar turned a smile to the kit, and in her wise voice spoke, "Welcome, to JadeClan, Willowkit. I'm sure you'll find the perfect place you belong here. Silvermist and Bluefeather will take wonderful care of you, I know it." Fallenstar turned a kind smile up at the queens. "I know it." Her words were repeated with nothing but warmth. In truth, this all made Fallenstar miss her daughter; miss when her daughter was no bigger than Willowkit. But that was a long time ago. Shoving her thoughts aside, Fallenstar glanced up at her friend. She saw that look on his face... "Tinyheart, may I speak to you for a moment?"

Stormheart stopped at the edge of the border. Here the forest stretched out as far as any cat could see. He gave a quick sniff. No sign of anything except last nights dusk patrol. He turned to his patrol. "Seem like everything is fine here... We'll continue down here then cross over to the check the WhisperClan border."

Bramblefur nodded to Stormheart. His thoughts drifted back towards the kitten. "Do you think she's okay? She seemed so little and underfed..." He couldn't help but worry about her. But he was sure that the queens and Tinyheart would take good care of her.

Sagepaw nodded to Ravenfeather. "Of course!" With that, Sagepaw headed out of camp. She kept to nose too the air and mouth slightly ajar as she searched for the scent of coltsfoot. She soon caught sight of a small thicket of them. She smiled at the yellow flowers and quickly set about gathering the leaves from the plant.

Hearing Fallenstar say his name, he looked back towards her and blinked "Sure, what about?" He meowed. Tinyheart really wanted to watch the kits play around and talk more about Bluefeather's soon to be born kit's but, an old friend wants his attention for now. The tom stood up and stretched before turning his head to look at the 3 kit's and 2 queens "I will be right back you 5." He meowed before walking forward one step and looking towards his friend "So where are we going to talk?" Tinyheart tilted his head.

There was a bit that Fallenstar wanted to speak to Tinyheart about... She first thought his den, but changed her mind, someone could easily overhear them. "Let's go for a walk in the forest." Fallenstar stood and glanced at the queens and kits. "I'll have him back to you in no time." The elderly leader headed off towards the entrance to the camp. As she padded away, her frame was shaken with a cough. Without looking back to make sure Tinyheart was following, Fallenstar headed out of camp.

When no one responded to Honeydawn, she nodded quickly and turned away. 'Fallenstar is there and it looks like it is being dealt with' She commented to herself about the little kit's situation, 'Fallenstar doesn't look well, maybe I should ask if something wrong' She added, concerned about the she-cats health. Honeydawn was about to go after the leader, but decided not when Ivypaw interrupted her thoughts.

"Of course, Ivypaw" She said turning to her apprentice. "Why don't you see if Hollowpaw would like to join us" She added, searching for the spotted pelt of the other Jadeclan apprentice.

Jaypaw emerged from the apprentice's den in whirlwind. Her messy pelt was sticking up at odd angles as she blinked in the sunlight. 'I must have slept in' She thought with a yawn, searching for her mentor. When she heard Hawkrain announcing a patrol, she perked her ears and bounded over. "Let's go!" She said playfully, attempting to wake and stretch as she leapt around her mentor. Under Hawkrain's watchful gaze, she immediately settled down, aware of her messy pelt. "Sorry I slept in." She said with a cheeky grin, attempting to stifle a yawn.

When there was no response from Hollowpaw, Honeydawn flicked her tail and turned to Rainsplash. "Feel free to join us when you find Hollowpaw." She said warmly. Honeydawn padded over to Ivypaw and said, "Hollowpaw doesn't seem to be around, she and Rainsplash can join us later if they want. Now, where would you like to go?" She asked in a friendly tone. Honeydawn wasn't super strict, and preferred to let Ivypaw train freely when and where she chose, after all it was the apprentice's choice if she wanted to be a warrior.

"Great! A border patrol!" Jaypaw lifted her paws and scratched at the earth in excitement. She began to groom her soft pelt, but nothing she did seemed to calm the mess. Shaking her head stubbornly, Jaypaw began to roll in the dirt, but that only made her pelt dirty as well as tangled. Finally, letting out a small snort at her predicament, Jaypaw neatly settled down, very conscious of her once-beautiful fur.
