Yeah, its pretty weird that you can't sex change leopons, considering that I managed to sex change my polycaudal cub... does it only work with the more common mutations? That's kind of inconsistent...

If we could be able to sex-change Male Leopons, the leopon selling and buying would get eventually out of hand;
A lot of females > a lot of cubs, which may produce Leopons...
Plus, when male leopons were introduced, there was a reason behind not being able to sex-change them:

But it wouldn't get out of hand. The chance of you getting one is still very low. There's roughly a couple hundred leopons in game and the prices still stay around 300-800.

I think it's also partly due to coding. Males do not have as much mutations as females, and it did take them a while to fix the bugs that happened when you sex changed them as cubs/adolescents. Also, they might be thinking that 23 rollovers is plenty of time. Idk, not sure where I sit on this at the moment.
