So how this would work is that you would get an Idol from the 'Idol Shop' or from an explore encounter with the Adventurer, a lion who adventures to find these Idols. The Idol Sop would work in some way similar to quests, you go and find X item(s) in order to get the Idol of X and then use it for it's effects.

The idols would be (probably)

Idol of Fertility: From the forests of the west, filled with tantalizingly sweet herbs. (id just being creative)
Idol of Infertility
Idol of Protection
Idol of Strength
Idol of Luck
Idol of Genetics
(All stats, other ideas, etc.)

How they would work is when you equipped them, they would work something like an item! They would come up with a flavor text like:

Snow will place the idol within sight before she sets off for her next hunt. She now has a higher chance of bringing down large prey on her next hunt!
(Luck Idol)
