This Role-Play page corresponds with The Wild West Horse Roleplay forum pages. Under heavy Construction
Role-played Fighting SystemA rule of three dodge, and three lessened blows. Throughout the entire fight, each stallion is given 3 Dodges and 3 Lessened blows. (Dodges can only be used if said character can REALISTICALLY dodge the coming attack.) (Else they have to resort to a lessened blow. If no remaining lessened blows, a full taken attack.) - For those not role-playing effects of an injury properly, admins WILL intervene. (I will create a special thread for questions and concerns on fights, so that chat won't flood the fight rp) Each post can only contain 1 - 2 attacks at one time. Some ExamplesEx:(Attack example): Stallion 1 directs a bite to stallion 2's shoulder as he runs past, bucking out with a back leg as he continues forwards and bolts away. (Maximum attacks per post used.) No turning around and coming for another hit, you must await your opponent's response. Ex 2:(Dodge example): Stallion 2 accepts the bite to his shoulder, his opponents blunt teeth tearing a hole in his flesh. Ouch. But luckily stallion 2 was able to turn his hips away from stallion 1's buck. (1 dodged used) Ex 3:(Lessened blow): Stallion 2 accepts the bite to his shoulder, his opponents blunt teeth tearing a hole in the his flesh. Ouch. Stallion 2 tried to turn his hips away from stallion 1's but wasn't able to successfully evade the buck. Hooves grazed stallion 2's hips, perhaps bruising skin but at least the muscle underlying was kept safe. (1 lessened blow used) Ex 4:(Counter, lessened blow, and attack): Stallion 2 accepted the bite to his shoulder from stallion 1, but not without pushing his own blunt teeth towards stallion 1 also, aimed for the neck as the chance passed him by. Hips were successfully able to evade the buck, a full-circle turn performed so that stallion 2 was now facing where stallion 1 was bolting off towards. In a moment's notice, stallion 2 was now running after stallion 1, as it was his turn to attack. Teeth tried to attack his opponent's(stallion 1) sides as stallion 2 chased him. (1 dodge used) [here we see stallion 2 accepting the bite from stallion 1, but dodging stallion 1's kick. In-between the attacks was a 'counter attack', counted as 1 out of the 2 maximum attacks available. After, stallion 2 went in for his second attack] [The countered attack is an example of an attack that CAN NOT BE DODGE REALISTICLY.] - - but not without pushing his own teeth towards stallion 1's neck too - - - Stallion 1 is already too close to avoid stallion 2's teeth. Especially since Stallion 1 successfully bit stallion 2 AND was trying to stay close enough to buck right after. Dice-Rolled Fighting System!! 2nd Option to fighting All percentages below are only for those that opted for dice to determine the entire fight. - After 1 to 2 posts are made in which two stallions declare war on one another and begin their attacks, both players can opt to 'Roll Dice' instead of role-play out the entire fight. Both must agree to the dice rolling, this is not one sided. - There will be a 50% to 50% chance of either stallion winning. UNLESS: Either stallion is injured from a previous battle or weather/BLM involvement. -Winner will receive this dice roll afterward: Roll 100: (1-70 victory without injury) (71-100 Victory with slight injury) -Loser will receive this dice roll afterward: Roll 100: (1-80 Loss with slight injury) (81-99 Loss with major injury) (100 Life threatening injury) Examples of slight injury: -Scars -Bruising -Soreness -Weakened -Mane/Tail loss -Severed Ear -Pulled muscle (inner body) -Tongue (temp speech impediment) Examples of major injury: (non-life threatening) -Sprain, obvious limp -Broken bones (Usually ribs) -Lame (Cannot run, obvious limp) -Pulled muscle (legs/face) -Tongue (chunk missing, difficulty eating) Additional: - Slight injuries are always an option to accept even if not rolled for! Scarred characters are cool. - Major injuries result in loss of challenging/fighting privileges for one month (1 week in-real-life) // Which means if challenged, you're stallion must immediately forfeit. Lead Mare Challenging- Mares do not follow this fighting system. - A fight between mares is considered more of a 'skirmish'. -A role-played skirmish, where simple realism rules. (No dodge, or lessened blows. Just what is realistically possible.) -The contenders are allowed 4 -5 posts per character before other herd members are allowed to intervene. (Option to said herd mares) -If Lead Mare is not determined within these 4 -5 posts per character, the mare whom has dished out more/better damage is considered victorious. If it's undecided-able by then, admins will intervene so that it's a fair conclusion. [A mare who has lost her Lead Mare title through challenge can not re-challenge for two seasons.] [If mare 1 looses against mare 2 twice, mare 1 can no longer challenge mare 2 - ever.] ![]() |
