(Okay so the current point I'm starting at is that nuclear is prideless, he hasn't got any territory either. Italic writing is the lions thoughts.)
Nuclear plodded through the seemingly lifeless plains. He had been pushed out of his pride at the age of adolescence in fear of him overruling the current king, since then he has been in search of a pride to call his own. A small cub wondered out in front of him, startling him slightly. Where did this cub come from? Why is it alone? Little did he know this cub would lead to his first pride member, she and her sister sat poised behind a nearby group of shrubs, ready to attack Nuclear if he threatened the cub, they were curious to see how he would react.

*The small lion cub Murtagh joyfully leaps up and bounds playfully falling around try to invite the larger lions to join him in play as he scampered around the small plain area rolling around in dirt and pouncing on small Grubs as well as birds and moles*

Nuclear placed a large paw out towards the cub, it jumped and latched on playfully. Nuclear raised his paw, amused by the limply dangling cub who scrambled to stay on. He lowered his paw soon after so the small cub wouldn't fall. It leapt about in circles, bounding without a care. It ran over to the two lioness' hiding spot and Nuclear followed in curiosity. The two lioness' quickly stood up to look more presentable.

*Murtagh giggles at the two lionesses and playfully watches as the male lion walks towards them, he hides behind the lionesses playing hide and seek, then gets distracted by a bird as he begins to fallow it moving away from the lionesses and the male*

The lioness that wasn't the cubs mother walked towards Nuclear, she looked him up and down before asking "What is your name?"
Nuclear puffed out his chest proudly "I am Nuclear. You are?" He smiled as his words seemed to harsh otherwise, he wanted to come across as kind.
"I'm Ona" She returned the smile. She had onyx black fur with hints of brown, her paws were a noticeably lighter shade and her eyes a naturally bright green. This is my sister, not by birth but a sister none the less. That's her cub.

*Murtagh stops in his tracks as he hears the word cub and he looks back at them curiously then continues to fallow the bird walking away from the other lions singing* pew pew pew pew *he giggles as he songs his little Song*

Nuclear noticed the little cub waddling away. "Um, I'm no expert but should cubs be wondering off like that?" He looks at Ona concerned. Ona turned around to see the cub wondering off,
"Murtagh! Come back here." She turned back to face Nuclear, "As long as Murtagh doesn't go too far it should be okay."

*Murtagh shakes his head and looks back in surprise and scampers back over stumbling over his own feet and falling Infront of Ona and Nuclear and giggles* pew pew pew pew pew

Nuclear laughs at the little cubs odd behaviour. Ona raises an eyebrow, "You are a strange little thing, aren't you?" She watches the playful cub sing it's odd but strangely cute song.

Nuclear gives Murtagh an odd look, How are cubs so energetic? He lowers his body to see the cub closer. "How old are you Murtagh?"

*Murtagh stands to his feet and smiles as his mother looks at Nuclear* he can't quite talk yet he's 10 months old he only knows how to say pew, birdie and mama

"I see you're still learning." He laughs, then pauses to think. "Would any of you consider joining my pride?"
Ona stepped forward hesitantly. "I, I am looking for a pride." She looks away flustered slightly.
