Hi! I'm trying this out except I'm phasing out my older lionesses rather than chasing them. I've grown way too attached the them and they're older anyway. Right now I'm ~sorta~ cheating by looking for a pied stud but I'm looking for studs that have little to no heritage. This has been really neat for me because I've caught some lovely chased NCLs and my pride has been growing at a manageable rate. Any cubs I don't want are pretty enough to be sold or chased at adulthood.

Question, how do you deal with your own cubs? Do you breed your daughters? What are your opinions on this?

Edit: also hoping to breed more mutations :3

Please label any lions you have that do not comply with Hard Mode rules and let us know when they have been phased out. If you can find a pied stud who is a Rolled King who has had piebald applied that is fine! ^^ If he has any heritage you will need to clearly label any cubs you get from him and treat them as a side project only. No breeding into your royal line. And keep them to a minimum. If breeding for pied is a big goal of yours and you can't find a heritageless stud (or get a Piebald applicator for yourself!) then you may want to start a side account and use one account for hard mode and the other for the rest. :)

Yes, breeding to daughters is fine! It is very very difficult to breed stacked marks for an appearance goal (such as a Hepta Feline for example or even just collecting different types of marks to complete a look) without breeding daughters ( this is true whether you are playing Hard Mode style or not). It IS possible to play Hard Mode style and also avoid incest, but most of your lions will be pretty random in the looks department, and it is not required. ^^

Basically they'll be leaving my pride when they die xD I suppose I can stop breeding them but I believe a couple have nice marks to them. I've thought about starting over on a new account but I already spend a lot of time on this one :/ I guess maybe I'm more on medium than hard mode

Btw if someone DOES manage to breed a Hepta Feline or some such while playing by Hard Mode rules AND completely incest-free, then giant kudos to you and you basically won Lioden so congrats in advance, lol. ^^

Ive got an activity idea that might be interesting. :)

How about maybe a monthly Chase and Hunt day? ^_^ When on certain day many neat females would be chased for the users to try and hunt.

I see so many pretty females basically rotting in cheap trades, but no one is buying them, that would make amazing NCLs to meet in explore. But just chasing them one by one is boring. I was thinking to maybe accumulate some neat females and chase them as a bulk, for better chance to find at least one.

Would anyone be interested in something like that? When on certain day, appointed as Chase and Hunt day, bulks of many, 10+, beautiful females were chased at appointed time for everyone to hunt?

I like your idea and would be totally willing to do this as a clan! It sounds like a fun kind of holiday idea! ^^ (Not just seasonal holiday but holiday in the general sense of the word)

If you mean Lioden as a whole, I'd still support, but I can't speak for the rest of the site and the admins, lol.

Cerrates, I mean mostly for the clan - of course, other users claiming females would also have a chance at getting them, but mainly as a clan activity! Maybe small prizes for clan members who claim and post certain females from the chased bulks? :D

Oh that sounds fun I like the prize idea too! Will need to be able to tag the girls that will be chased though (like record their marks and opacities) before letting them go so we know which ones they are.

We could take screenshots of their Appearance area, it's easier to compare to a picture than just written data. ^_^It can be something like Hard Mode Clan's blind dating day; find a girl and see what she has in store for you. Some would invite you to a fermented marula fruit party, another will give you some gift for finding her, etc. ;D
