Yes that is correct except you can looks rep only if the lion who's looks you are using is G2 or Heritageless (like if you wanted to king a male groupie that had a special base and keep the groupie's looks).

You just can't use looks from any lion that is more than G2, unless they are 100% hard mode bred (within your own pride).
So for example if you want to add breed only traits to your king, you could start with a G2 or a Groupie with a base or marking you like, and breed him to a Chased NCL with a different marking that you like until you get a cub with all the traits of both parents that you like, king that cub, and then breed your new kinged cub to another Chased with a new marking that you want to add, and so on! :)

Hi! I have a question regarding kings, if I kinged a g2 savage stud cubs would that be allowed? The mother is an ncl I claimed myself and was just a average ncl

Yeah, you can keep the cubs! Since the Savage Studs are heritageless, their cubs are second gen (unless your lioness is a higher generation), so you can keep 'em. It's like breeding to a player's heritageless stud.

'Course, Cerrates may have more feedback on that or correct me, but… yeh.

Thought I would give a little update on my breeding project! I am finally counting it as completed!

Shes missing a few of the things I would have liked but I'm calling it good here as this project has been going since I started hard mode I now have my hard mode king that I will be keeping until further notice! The slots that did not come out with what I was looking for will be RMA'd and the base will be changed. I am so excited to start working on something new!

I have a question & something extremely lucky I believe?
I applicator-ed Wepwawet onto my king on my main account- who has no heritage as he's my rolled one and bred him to a NCL that I got from the trading centre on this account and !!! one of the cubs got Wepwawet!!

Should I try to sell her? as I imagine a gen2 Wepwawet would be pretty valuable- what kind of price would I be looking at? Or would it be better to keep her to breed? Is there any point in gender swapping and king-ing her? Bc others can't breed with gen2 right so only I could breed NCL with her as a king hm, I kinda don't want to king her bc if I do, I won't be able to breed her as the king with any cubs from my other accounts king + this accounts NCL as thatd be inbreeding

Welcome and Congrats! It is indeed quite lucky to get a special base to pass down to a cub. Wepwawet as you know is an applicator base though, so a cub with the base typically will be less valuable than the applicator itself. Wepwawet is a Ra factor base though, so since Ra is a popular combo base, Wepwawet lions are more desirable than a lot of other applicator bases.
Right now, it looks like a G2 Wepwawet cub could possibly be sold for somewhere between 4-10GB in the trading center if you wanted to sell the cub.
Since you already have a Heritageless Wepwawet king, and the cub doesn't have any additional rare traits, you wouldn't really gain anything by kinging her, so you are probably better off keeping her as a Queen or selling her :)
