ICEBREAKER TOPIC: Do you collect shinies? If so- How do you collect them? [Examples: Trades/breeding/Nuzlocks/running around in the grass like a chicken with its head chopped off] ======= Lol im a mixture of all three but its mostly breeding and the running XDDDD My Pokemon black is like 80% shinies tho i last tried to breed for a shiny skitty so i have two boxes full of normal skitties i was trying to get rid of with trades XDD [now the its is down Q~Q its been down for years but- fuuuu i was down to only 1 ox full of skitties] 0 players like this post! I personally have sort of just happened to find shinies randomly thus far. But I am definitely interested in the new shiny method in Sun and Moon. After the first run through of Moon, I am definitely going to soft reset for a shiny rowlet however. That is too special to pass up on. 0 players like this post! Like? |

... I might have walked around in the grass for a few hours on Pokemon Diamond to find the perfect jolly eevee shiny.. ( It was a girl to, perfect breeding partner to my normal adment vaporeon <3) ( There both now lvl 100 <3)( Made it so they complement each other <3) Other than that, nope owo 0 players like this post! I don't really shiny hunt. Last time I did I managed to find a shiny eevee (turned shiny sylveon). I found it pretty quickly, but I haven't had any luck since then. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Theres a breeding method that some of you may find neat or helpful. If i were to breed two pokemon [one from america and the other from asia] due to something involving language codes or what-not there is actually a percentage of getting a shiny :D- thus making that method the only method of finding shinies that has a percentage ^^ you may end up with a ton of normal pokes- but shines are more common! 0 players like this post! That's the Masuda method xD. And I have heard of it, but I generally prefer to try and get good IVs from breeding (Not to mention that carrying all those eggs around are already excruciating as is). @Tazzie You can always just wondertrade. Very likely to get pokemon from other countries, although it's hard to get a female pokemon with a nice shiny, which is what you want 0 players like this post! Like? |
