The limit is there so people don't have too many lionesses. Also, you can earn GB through trading if you can't buy any with real money.

They'd have to earn the GB though, either through selling stuff they earn in game or with the money they make in real life. It shouldn't be easy to get some things, so you'll have to work for it.

Beyond 40 is a luxury, just like beyond 2 sub male slots(actually, sub males slots are considered a luxury that they exist at all), which is why they cost GB. If you have the GB, got the time to feed a pride that huge(as someone who's had 40+ lions, trust me when I say it's incredibly hard sometimes to feed them all), then yeah, go ahead, buy a crap ton of slots after the 40. Territory slots that could bought with SB or fight for used to be 20, and we all did okay, actually more than okay with it. The admins were just nice and doubled the limit. 40 is far more than enough slots.
People buying GB and using it on luxury things, such as expanding territory, is what keeps the site running.

if you just buy it its way easyer than finding items and hopeing people trade for your items/lions
and trading for gb feels like it would be like kinda close to stealing cause you did not pay for it you took it from someone who did

How is trading for items for GB stealing? o.O If you price your items fairly, you put the time into getting them, and someone else is willing to pay for it, I don't think that's anywhere near "stealing". They are paying you for something you have, you're not taking it without giving something they've deemed worth it in return.

That's why people buy GB, to get it easier or help support the site. Lioden needs money to run so if no one bought GB then it'd shut down.

Trading wouldn't be like stealing because you are giving them something in exchange for something else. You wouldn't be taking an item because you'd be giving something in return. The person with GB chooses to trade it away and receives something for it, so I don't see how it would be stealing.
