In the beginning there were thirteen zodiacs -aries, taurus, gemini, leo, cancer, virgo, libra, scorpio, sagittarius, capricorn, aquarius, pisces, and ophiuchus - that watched over earth, dividing their time into thirteen different months in which they made sure that the inhabitants fared well and didn't have to fear the threat of powerful beings outside of their world. Everything was well until ophiuchus decided that they wished to have more power and attempted to fight the others one by one. The others quickly caught on and turned against their former comrade, banishing them to the darkest reaches of space where they wouldn't pose a threat to the zodiac's rule. Centuries passed and ophiuchus was all but forgotten, the months having been adjusted so that there were only twelve, and a time of great peace settled over the land.

Unbeknownst to the twelve, ophiuchus was not truly defeated and was steadily gaining back their strength over the millennia, in preparation for the day that they fought against their captors and cast them out of the sky. That day has finally arrived. It started with a speck of darkness that went unnoticed, then all at once it spread, throwing out the twelve constellations in the form of shooting stars that crashed into the earth as the ten points of ophiuchus were the only stars visible in the night sky.

Now that the zodiacs have been banished to earth they must regroup and face unexpected dangers as they quest to regain their power and once again banish ophiuchus. Only this time, it'll be for good...

⛎ S E T T I N G ⛎

While many aspects remain the same about Earth there are a few important details to take into consideration. The urbanized areas are often misshapen and jumbled due to the variety of creatures that inhabit the buildings and their various needs. In certain parts of the world gravity has a very loose hold on the land and there are entire cities made up in earth that floats among the clouds. Just like there are cities in the sky, there are ones in the ground, they're made up of extensive tunnels and don't have the best reputation. Different species have different languages and can possess accents similar to that of a human's. Similar species are more likely to be able to understand each other, however there's a common language so there are less miscommunication. Species unable to speak common, communicate primarily with body language, as well as a few other qualifiers are considered feral and generally left in the wild, used for work, and kept as pets. I can't think of much else, but I'll notify you all of updates ;D

⛎ I N F O R M A T I O N ⛎

The characters will be more "demon"-like, allowing for a wider range of traits. Their skin can be anything just short of neon and I'd prefer they've be more solid colored, excluding freckles and such, although a few interesting markings is fine. The same goes for hair and eyes. As for body types they may be anywhere within and slightly outside of the human range, although they can be any gender you want. They may have extra traits such as fangs and claws in general, but you can also give them things relating to their sign; scales for a pisces, horns for an aries, etc. Along with weird extras, the characters may have very minor powers relating to their zodiac, these powers will be stronger nearer their element; air will be strong winds and high places, earth is the ground and underground, fire is fire and warmth, and water is water. ⛎ Do not make a completely perfect or imperfect character, however you are allowed to have some fun and go against the norm ;D
⛎ God modding n' power playing. Just don't.
⛎ Please post at least four sentences per post per character.
⛎ You may have up to two characters unless I say otherwise.
⛎ I could not care less about the gender ratio in the role play, so don't worry about trying to even it out if you don't want to.
⛎ Please remain active, if you are leaving or taking a break try to inform me beforehand. Otherwise I will wait a week before messaging you, if you don't reply I'll be forced to remove your character(s).
⛎ Be polite and respectful OOC, however you can be the biggest donkus the world has ever seen IC.
⛎ Try not to one x one, allow at least one post in between.
⛎ Reservations last forty eight hours.
