Per Xylax' advice, I am placing this observation of mine as a suggestion. I am sure I am not the only one who loves the brindle markings. But there is something that just keeps ruining it for me. The brindle markings are just too faded on the adult male lions, while the stripes stay visible and pretty on every other stage and on females in general. Look at this for example: Male vs Female: Now, as soon as you put them on a darker base, only the female's brindle marking is truly visible properly: Can there be a change? Could you please make the adult male's brindle markings stronger? The same problem applies to all other brindle colors. This marking would be awesome if it wasnt for how invisible it is on the adult males... --------------------- Q: But what if I like the faded look? A: There is always the option to play with the opacity to make it more faded. Just lower it and you should have your faded look. Q: I already have the brindle marking on my lion and I like it the way it is. A: The Marking Opacity Changer is only 1800SB at the Monkey Business. And since the change would only apply to the adult males, the modification would not affect a large quantity of lions on an account. SB is also super easy to get. Thank you. |

I support, I've always found it strange how different the marking is. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support. Onyx Brindle at 100% opacity on the adult males looks more like dark gray, or slate than actual onyx. I don't currently have Onyx Brindle on my main male, but if I do decide to have it on him in the future, I would definitely love it to look like what the marking name suggests: onyx . 0 players like this post! No support. If you want to pay for the MOC for everyone who doesn't want it to be darker, by all means go ahead. But I agree with Lex. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support this a lot. For the longest time, I was confused and thought it just wasn't full opacity, until I realized that it is actually more faded. Brindle is also one of my favorite markings on here, and I'd love to use it on kings in the future if it got fixed. #StripeyButtEquality 0 players like this post! Like? |

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a marking opacity changer to make it lighter again than to ask someone to add brindle again? especially if they have to remove a marking to be able to add one in. If they even have the room. Support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I fully support this, brindle always bugged me on adult males for this reason. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Totally support. I had to keep my king as an adolescent to make his brindle marking more obvious... 0 players like this post! Like? |

With the breed-only brindles being in game, I now really want to see this. I've very much considered using a Tiger's Eye on my king just to make his Copal Brindle more visible, and I can't just add another one because it's breed only. Unfortunately, some of his decor doesn't work with him in adolescent stage. And trust me, I have tried like hell to get the marking to pass twice (which is kinda a waste), and it just won't. The argument "just add another one" doesn't work anymore. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 14/07/17 @ 17:09:31 by Bezthiel (#81210) |

I'd like to point out that, since it is no longer possible to breed in double markings, it is no longer possible to obtain double copal or gold brindle (the two breed only ones). These ones will always remain indistinct on adult males, which is regrettable - take a look at my king for instance; his copal brindle is near invisible in adult stages. 0 players like this post! Totally support. I don't use brindle on my males specifically because it's too light, and I don't like coat so I can't use it as a substitute. It's more fair to have some pay a bit of SB to lower the opacity of a marking than have others pay GB PLUS a marking slot to get a mark darker; especially since a lot of folks want as many breed-only marks on their king as possible so in order to keep those and get another brindle they would have to pay even more GB to open up another marking slot. 0 players like this post! I never even noticed this. I always use very low percent for markings, because it blends in nicely. I support ^^ Weird how it's lighter for males though. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Silence But, you can just make the marking a lower opacity? It's not that hard. It's easier too, rather than having people add another Onyx Brindle at 100% to their males, as Cynder stated. 0 players like this post! Like? |
