Hey, everyone! Happy 2017!  I'm new to the forums and Lioden in general, and I just had a quick question on the first event of our new year. For the Hunger Event/Food Pit, I was curious as to how karma is involved in our actions. When our lions are exploring and stumble upon, for example, a starving leopard ("This very hungry leopard is too weak to even hunt anymore.") and we have the option of taking it out of its misery by fighting it, do we lose karma? I've been working on keeping my karma score as high as possible, but I do want to contribute to this month's event. Please let me know if/how my actions for these particular scenarios will affect my karma! Thanks, servalshark 0 players like this post! Like? |

From a player-made event guide: Do the NPC encounters effect karma? Nope! Your goodie two shoes can stay good. Or your baddie three bads can stay...bad. I can sorta corroborate this because I haven't noticed any gains/drops in karma from those encounters yet, and I have my karma visible. But the news thread some of them do affect karma, so I'm not positive. A staff member will make their event guide a stickied thread in this board soon enough, and that will say for sure. ^-^ 0 players like this post! They do effect karma I'm just not sure witch one but from what I know most will effect your karma negatively 0 players like this post! Like? |

I believe encounters such as the one where you meet a bunch of hyena cubs affect karma. You have to choose to kill them or warn them. Killing will lower your karma. Im not sure if the other choice raises it or keeps it the same though. 0 players like this post! Like? |
