pssst if i may, i'm reviving this thread ;D i started DW with New Who, and 9 was my first doctor. i have to say my favorite is either Tennant 10 or Smith 11! i watched capaldi's first season but i lost interest for a bit after that. i hear the new doctor's actor is a female!! which to me is really cool :0 i think my favorite companions have to be rose and amy, and my favorite ep of all time is probably Smith's first one <33 0 players like this post! Yeah, the 13th Doctor is Jodie Whittaker. I saw her acting first time in Broadchurch and to br honest, I didn't like it and still don't. I don't care about Doctor's gender (but I still prefer male so much more) but don't like the chosen actress  0 players like this post! Like? |

Ah, I started with Capaldi and he is my Doctor along with William Hartnell, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Patrick Troughton and Matt Smith :D I really recommend to see his seasons! He is the only New Doctor who brings my loved Classic Who back to DW <3 0 players like this post! Like? |

I started with New Who too (Capaldi & Smith) at last year's June, but when I fell in love with Capaldi and Smith, grew bored with Tennant and didn't care to finish Eccleston, I wanted to try the good looking Doctors from Classic (aka Pertwee, Hartnell and Tom Baker) and fell in love. I really love the plot from Classic Who episodes much more than the ones from New Who. And in Classic there are much, much more creatures and people to help. Yes, Daleks, Cybermen, Silurians, Sontarans and Zygons have been in Doctor Who for decades, but in Classic every episode is not all about them, there is tons of other aliens and enemies to see, not the same ones cycling in New Who. I have been Whovian for 1 year and 3 months, so to watch Classic you don't need to be born in 1970's and start with Baker. You can start whenever you want 0 players like this post!
