Before Jo got the chance to properly walk away, she felt Aaron grab her elbow, turning her around to face him, and her eyebrows furrowed, as she looked at him. The nerve of this guy?! He just didn't give up, and Jo didn't know what to feel about it. "No, I don't like you, and I could do better by myself, in my sleep," she snapped, as he let go of her elbow before she heard the mumbled 'sorry' he said under his breath. Her face clearly showed her surprise, as she looked at him, not having expected an apology from him, not thinking he even did apologies. Jo looked at Aaron, deciding to go with the truth. "I don't know whether to trust you or not," she tells him, scrunching up her nose.

Aaron sighs and runs his hands through his hair in frustration. "I take school as seriously as you, I'm not messing around, Dan doesn't give a shit and that is why I told him to go find someone else. I'm smart enough to know that if you didn't trust me, you wouldn't have invited me to finish at your dorm room rather than using the 2 days in between classes to work in the library or an empty classroom and just bringing the materials there instead. I can tell you are confused as to why the quarterback isn't dumb as fuck and why he isn't making moves on you like you expected, give me three good reasons why you shouldn't trust me now and I will leave."

Jo inmiedately looked around at the people around her, the class was still chattering among themselves. Then her eyes came back to Aaron's, as she shook her head. Fury was obviously boiling inside of her. This was easy to tell by the way her hands were beginning to curl into fists at her side. Her hand jabbed Aaron in the chest. "You don't know me Aaron," she growls, glaring at him. "You don't know what I know, what I think or how I feel so don't you dare pretend like you do!" Jo couldn't believe this. Another jab to the chest. "The only reason I was your partner before was because I had to be! I don't have to now! And I don't care what the hell you want to do, if I tell you to, you're going to leave me alone whether you want to or not because that's my choice not yours!"

Aaron looked at Jo poking at his chest and when she poked him again, he grabbed her hand and put it down at her hip. "If you want to hurt me, do it where you can't get in trouble but this is called partner work for a reason. I know girls like you, and frankly I don't stumble into them often, but they always think guys like us just want to fuck but you have to realize that you don't know squat about me either. The only reason why you hate me is because you assume that I am only befriending you to get in your pants but no," Aaron was a practiced liar but at this moment half of his words didn't feel like a lie, "I only am what I am because of my past. When Jo heard his words, she got even madder before excusing herself and Aaron to the teacher, telling them they needed to go to the library really quickly and thank goodness the teacher didn't ask why because Jo wasn't good at creating lies on her feet. She pushed him outside the door before walking for a while and then she pushed him against the lockers, probably rougher than she needed to because even though she was small, Jo was strong. Not as strong as guys but still pretty strong. "Don't you dare use that bull shit on me!" Jo snaps at Aaron, her finger pointing at his face before she jabbed it into his chest, trying to emphasize her own point. "Im not like other girls! I don't think like them and I can tell you my thoughts don't revolve around you! And yes I did judge you because you've shown me no other than the fuckboy that I thought you were. The only new thing I learned is that you're smart. Woo hoo! Good for you! But that's the thing Aaron, you'll always be the same. You use girls and you can't blame me for not wanting to associate with you!"

Aaron's anger started to rise as well when she shoved him against the lockers and started to assault his chest with her fingers. He took both of her hands and reversed their position pinning her against the lockers, "I never said you were like the other girls!" He almost yelled, he usually wan't one to let his anger take over him but this girl made him so furious and he didn't know why, and that made him more mad. "What have I ever done to you that would prove anything in your defense. If you didn't know me previously you would've thought I was normal, but guess what, why don't we all fucking judge Aaron because he fucks every pussy he can get his dick in, huh?" He gripped her wrists almost as if they were to fragile to be held but made sure to keep it tight enough so she couldn't poke at him anymore, or slap him. "You know nothing about my past! No one does because it's something I'm not fucking proud of. Do you think someone just becomes like this for the hell of it, no, I was beat-" Aaron stopped himself just as he was about to spill the fact that he was beaten by his father as a kid until he got out of elementary and his mom just sat there not able to stop it.

It was an understatement for Jo to say that she was surprised when Aaron was taking no more of her jabbing and grabbed her wrists in his hands. Not fought but not gentle either. And he spun her around, pressing her back to the lockers,, meaning their positions had been switched. And Jo didn't like it because now he has control over her and she deal with the fact that someone could have control over her. Anger was radiating off of Aaron in a way Jo had never seen before. She didn't know if she had ever been as angry as he was then or if anyone had made Aaron as mad as she did. All Jo knew was that he was pissed and it was because of her doing. Her breathing became uneven, as she pulled against his hands, looking anywhere but in his eyes, not wanting to admit defeat because that wasn't who she was. Jo would rather die. And when she heard his cutoff words, she had known what he was about to say and Jo wanted to believe him though there was a part of her that didn't and thought this whole thing was a play. "That doesn't give you the right to use women," she spits. "Do you ever stop and think about how they feel? No because you don't care. As long as your dick is satisfied, right?" Jo didn't know what she was doing, or why she was even so engaged into this argument. All she knew was that he made her blood boil.

"Goddammit!" Aaron was on the edge of connecting his fist with the lockers right beside her head, her words were basically another way of saying he was some sort of rapist, which he wasn't. "I don't use women, they know what they are getting into when they get into bed with me, and I make it clear. You-" He gritted his teeth and thought about his next words if he tells her, she would either accuse him of lying and slap him in the face or she would look at him with constant pity. Neither of which he wanted but he had this urge in him that wanted to prove her so wrong about what she thinks she knows, and no that urge wasn't his dick. "If you really want to know why I'm so fucked up, I can't tell you in complete open. C-12," Aaron stated his dorm room number, "After school, maybe then you'll understand." He let go of her wrists and walked away, back to the classroom.

When Aaron let go of her wrists, her breathing returned to normal as she watched him walk away. It just seemed like he had been too close to her, invading her space, and she hadn't liked it all. Jo watched him head back to class, as she began to think whether or not, she should hear him out. Did Jo really even care that much? If she were being honest, she didn't know the answer. Jo tried to think harder, sliding her back against the lockers but there was nothing. Blank. After a while she stood back up, deciding that he would be getting one chance and if he blew it than that was all his own fault and none of hers.

After classes were over, Jo made her way to the dorm room that Aaron had told her and it took her a moment before she sighed and knocked on his door, shifting her weight from foot to foot. Jo wasn't nervous. Anxious maybe. She didn't really know. All she knew was that she wanted the truth and Aaron had offered her just that.

Aaron had just walked out of the shower when a knock came upon his door, there was no time to dry his hair but he grabbed a shirt and pulled it over his head before walking over to the door. When he opened it, he saw Jo standing there in a nervous stance, moving to the side, he let her in and walked over to a chair and threw his towel on his table. "You want anything to drink." He offered as he went to his kitchen, pouring a glass of water for himself

Jo hesitantly walked into the dorm room, seeing that it actually wasn't as dirty as she thought it would be. There weren't clothes everywhere and dishes on every surface like she'd grown accustomed to seeing in every guy's dorm, or the few she'd been in anyway. No, Aaron's was pretty neat though there were some stuff here and there. She sat down in the chair, shaking her head before she realized he couldn't see her since he had went into the kitchen. Jo cleared her throat. "You know why I'm here," she tells him, watching him when he comes back in. "You want me to give you a chance. I want you to tell me the truth." That was the only compromise that Jo was interested in.

Aaron walked back to where Jo sat and took a chair, placing it across from Jo's before sitting down himself. "Ok," he muttered thinking of how to start, "I'm not telling you this stuff so you can feel bad for me, I'm telling you because you can't seem to get it out of your head that I'm the 'bad' guy." Aaron took a sip of his water before placing it down on the table beside him. "When I was young, say up to when I was about five, my life was normal, like any kid's life. Normal parents who had a job, first year of school, and friends. Yea? But up to this day I still don't know what changed in my dad because one day he came home drunk, which is abnormal for him let me say, and five year old me couldn't even tell there was anything wrong so I went to bed that night but woke up to my mom's screams. They were pained screams, and I was worried so I walked to my parent's room and my dad was there beating her. I begged him to stop but he just kept going, and when he realized I was there, he was scared that I would tell everyone in my class so he locked me up in my room and started to hit me. It wasn't bad at first, maybe a slap or two on the face but as I got older it dot worse. He would take turns hitting my mom and I, I didn't understand why he found so much damn pleasure in it but one night, when he was hitting my mom, she hit back. It only made things worse though, he took her right in front of my eight year old eyes but I was to weak to do anything. Every single day, it became a habit for that asshole, I still have scars on my back but most of the scars on my front are faded."

As Jo listened to his story, she actually did feel symphathy because Jo could tell that he was telling the truth. That he wasn't lying and was being honest with her. No child should ever have to go through the pain of being beaten or even worse having to witness his own mother being beaten and by someone as close to him as his own father. It was so wrong. And then to see his mother do something as horrible as to...... Jo couldn't even think about it. But the big thing Jo was wondering was why he was telling but her? Why was she important enough to tell? "So that's why you do it?" She asks, biting her lip as her eyes turned to look at Aaron. There was a mean glint to it. "You fuck girls to have the control you didn't have as a kid?" And Jo shook her head. "You couldn't find a better way to let out the anger?"

Jo turned to look at Aaron and nodded her head curtly before the thought had just run through her mind of why he was telling a complete stranger this information. It seemed very deep and personal to him and Jo wouldn't even say that they were friends.
