Aaron sighed again and chuckled, "I can't break up our friendship because of a disagreement, we're on the same football team and neither of us can be distracted for big games coming up. We just tend to avoid each other for a week and usually things go back to normal." He looked over again to Jo and saw that she had an annoyed expression on her face, "I know you don't like him so why don't we not ruin the night and stop talking about him, k?"

"It's not just that I don't like him," Jo states, shaking her head at the thought of Dan. He really was just a horrible person to Jo. "I can't stand him. He's a womanizing jerk that only uses women for their body and he has a new girl every freaking week, leaving the old ones to cry out their ugly hearts because they thought they were the one that could change him." Jo scoffed, shaking her head at the thought of those type of girls. The ones who thought everything was a fairytale when life was the exact opposite. "All of those girls are idiots. He even tried to ask me out one time, oh i wanted to do so much more than throw water in his face." Jo shakes her head before grinning at the memory.

Aaron lifted his eyebrow and chuckled, "thank you. For summarizing me in a nutshell." He said dryly, trying to hold back his laughter. "Who knows, everyone can be changed, it just takes the right person." He shrugged and pulled into the football stadium's parking lot. "And maybe someone can be changing without even realizing it."

Jo turned around to face Adam with a giant smile on her face, her whole face alighted with humor and happiness, not something that was common for her. "You think I'm changing Dan?!" she exclaims before pretending to look honored. "What can i say? It's a dirty job, but i do think that I am the perfect girl for it." She laughs, shaking her head before looking back out the window, thinking about her humorous jokes.

Aaron shook his head and sighed, knowing Jo didn't know he was talking about himself. "Sure." Was all he said, and even the worse could tell he was lying. He got out of his car and shut the door behind him, feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket. He saw Dan's ID on his phone and frowned, rejecting the call not wanting to deal with Dan for the rest of the day.

It became apparent to Jo when they parked outside of the stadium that Aaron wasn't as in a cheerful mood as he'd been minutes earlier. What had Jo done wrong now? She hadn't said anything bad or rude or anything. She grabbed his arm, making him wait for her. "What's your problem?" she asks him, not allowing him to move, as she looked into his eyes. "Why are you made at me again?"

Aaron clenched his jaw and took his phone out from his pocket with his free arm, "this is my problem." Aaron showed her his call log with Dan's name at the top, "he won't stop calling me, or trying to at least." He put his phone back in his pocket he put his hand reassuringly on her shoulder, "don't worry, I'm not mad at you, and I shut off my phone for the night so it's just you. and me." He said the last part with a laugh trying to lighten up the mood between the two of them.

Jo scrunched up her nose, as they walked toward the stadium. "You say that like it's a good thing," she tells him before letting out a laugh, interrupting the silence of the night. And then they walked into the stadium to see that the game was just beginning. It was Ole Miss vs Alabama. And Jo immediately began to cheer for Ole Miss, knowing that even though they had been underdogs this season that they could win this game. Her team better not lose to Alabama!

Aaron started cheering for the same team Jo was, and not because she was cheering for him but because he actually favored Ole Miss more than Alabama. By the end his throat was sore from the constant yelling, he could barely speak after. "That was fun." He said to Jo as the teams made their way off the field.

Jo had gotten quite scared when she realized her team was losing by four points, and she had for a second given up before Ole Miss managed to scored a touch down. She jumped up and yelled with everyone else, ecstatic. And that was it! She was beyond happy at the results and watched as the players began to leave the field. She turned to Aaron when he talked before nodding her head in agreement. "It was really was," she told him, grinning. "We won."

Aaron nodded at Jo's remark, "Yea we did, why don't we celebrate, my dorm? I got beer..." he paused thinking Jo may not like beer, "or no beer, not sure what you prefer but I have raspberry club soda too." He smiled a cheeky smile before making his way back to his car.

Aaron just shrugged and smiled widely when she asked him in disbelief, "I wasn't saying you don't drink beer, I just don't want to be stuffing it in your face." He closed the dorm door behind him, tossing his keys on the kitchen counter before walking over to the fridge, and pulling out a couple beers...for now. He took out the cap opener and popped the lids off of the glass bottles, holding one out for Jo.
