Observing the landscape before her with inquisitiveness a youthful female was found trotting in the vicinity of the gigantic walls of the pack's fort, with each step attempting to dismiss the reality in which she only played pretend; To her eyes, she was protecting the territory with confidence and ferocity. One could easily and often question Cheyenne's methods, but going further those walls accompanied by another dog didn't result such a fantastic idea, preferring to probably gain scolds afterwards rather than not tour at all. Being the second time, she felt proud of her successful mischief despite the imprudence of her actions.

A sudden, rapid movement disarranged her, momentarily stopping her patrol to let fear strike. Ears perked in attention and alert. This was until the creator of a bush-like noise showed itself, leaving behind it the vegetation to reveal a fluffy tail and incredibly large ears. Cheyenne's instincts collided with excitement, confusion and a bit of hunger, launching herself into a fast gallop after the now fleeing rabbit. The pup was indeed agile, but coordination and patience were not present in her moves, missing lots of experience in hunting matter. What was supposed to be a final stride led the smaller creature to jump inside a burrow, leaving Cheyenne with empty paws after an unfortunate event-- She lost balance, considering the unexpected surprise of its disappearing, and immediately fell to the ground flattened upon like a rug.

A dense cloud of dirt rose to fill the air with its irritating particles, and Cheyenne got to her feet with clear frustration written on her expression. Besides having a sore head and chest, she surely made a fool of herself, a scene worth to see to gain a good laugh. During some seconds she evaluated the situation, indecisive whether to insist on the rabbit attempting to dig, or go back to the pack defeated. She finally chose the latter, though erasing any signs of failure from her posture.

Upon entering the camp, the Collie and Canadian Eskimo mix laid her amber colored eyes on the gathering of dogs in the far away end of the fort. There seemed to be tension, assuming the subject was especially important and perhaps directed only to adults. She however neared the meeting, allowing curiosity to peek and listen intently and in time to every word of Mason-- The new Chief. The little Cheyenne knew about the pack' hierarchy, rules, and everything related was enough to acknowledge the situation of the Pack, as well as the death of Zeus. Did she really knew the true concept of death though?

Positioning herself behind the crowd, Cheyenne continued to listen quietly to Mason's speech, hesitant to sit as it was usually an impossible task; She was in constant movement. Cheyenne had forgotten for a moment her idea, which became an objective. The target, however, was still undefined.

"Good and quiet" Lyra confirmed, her smile twisting slightly with worry upon seeing Bane's limp. She looked down at the pup when he spoke again, and was about to answer him when something caught her attention. She saw Xila out of the corner of her eye, the pup had padded out of the nursery. Lyra stood slowly, "could you stay here for a moment? Xila's woken up and I feel I should check on her." She asked, her pale gaze not leaving the pup. She nodded once before padding slowly in the direction of Xila, smiling at her curiosity. "Morning Xila, I didn't realize you were up, did you want to join Bane and I in the meeting?" She asked, nodding in the direction of Bane and the rest of the pack.
