I remember that no long ago a player asked in chat what were the effects of lionesses' personalities, besides the nurturing one, and that a staff member replied that none, for the moment, but that it was already planned to change. I've searched and found no other suggestion that focused solely on this, so here we go: Female's Personalities Overhaul!Right now, we have about 50 different personalities for females, 10 per karma group, and only one of those - Nurturing - has a notable effect within our prides beyond the mood boost and penalties that all karma groups share. This is a lot of effects to make, so I thought that we could begin suggesting 9 to complement the "taking care of an extra cub as a broodmother" one, and see where they fit within all the karma groups as a personality. Or that could stay exclusive to the good girls, like some male personalities? Or maybe add a counterpart to the evil side? Perhaps we could have some lionesses have a chance of bringing something "extra" from their hunts, like the Stingy or the Gracious ones? Have some that help with the general mood of the pride, like the Joyful, Upbeat or Humorous personalities? Maybe some that can boost our PvP or PvE chances, like the Loud and Brutal ones? What would you want your ladies to be able to do? Possible Personalities' effects:Interaction Effects
The Feed all, Play all feature would have 0% chance of any of the interaction effects taking place: this is not a penalty, but a warning. For the interactions' effects to take place, you have to actually interact with the lionesses. Special Effects
*Those two are counterparts, and the idea is for only one of those effects to be possible, but the hunt cost is a must; which effect do you prefer? Karma? Mood for the lioness? Stat gain? Other? Given that these effects could be taken advantage of with larger prides, a good way to prevent a possible abuse would be establishing a system similar to the stud slots: every week an account has a given amount of effect slots, and every time one of these is purposely used it'd take a slot away, until there are no more left or the counter refills the following week. Automatic Effects
Edit: I erased the whole personalities lists, for convenience purposes, given that the post was getting very long. I'll repost them once each one has been given a possible effect, preferably on a fancy table. |

HECK TO THE YES I has bothered me for quite some time that the males were the only ones who got the advantages with the personality types, and even then, it's only with the Kings. Seeing this in game would be fantastic, honestly... 0 players like this post! Like? |

potentially you wouldnt need a button for the lionesses killing/escorting others? You could do it like normal but perhaps the first time you do it (per rollover) its like (i cant remember the actual text so bare with me) "you decide to take Lioness1 to the nature reserve, however Lioness2 volenteers to do it for you. you loose no energy and gain +5 karma." and "You approach Lioness1 to kill her, but Lioness2 cuts you off and asks to do it. you agree. you loose no energy but loose -5 karma." edit: and add in 'and lioness2 looses 1 hunt' or somethin 0 players like this post! I Support, seem's very interesting since most personalities, especially to the lionesses, make it useless and boring. However i don't get the concept: " Raise pride members’ moods 2-4% every Rollover. This would take effect only within compatible karma groups: Kind and Good, and Snarky and Evil. Neutral is, well, neutral, so it'd only work within other neutral lions. The personalities that could have this effect would be Joyful, Upbeat, Humorous, Sassy and Mischievous. " Because isn't there already some Mood's/ Personalities for this? 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Oracl There are, but they are only for your main male. Taken directly from the wiki: "[...] your King's personality can conflict with the personalities of your pride members. On each rollover your pride loses mood, but it will be different depending on their personalities, as they tend to conflict. Evil and Good will conflict each other, resulting in a major mood drop. Snarky and Kind will conflict each other, resulting in a major mood drop. Alike personalities such as evil and evil, or good and good will result in the lowest mood drop. Any other personality combinations will have mood drop as normal, unless your King is a Loner (Neutral), which has its own effect." The idea would be having lionesses with certain personalities boost their fellow pride members' spirits every RO a little bit, even if you king's personality clashes with them. 0 players like this post! Hey guys, I just edited the Romantic effect - to have them "convince" a lioness in explore to join our pride - and the aid in PvE that it's still personality-less to act as Laharu did. Do you think we could have an Evil lioness "bully" a lioness in explore to join us, to be a counterpart to the Romantic? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I personally find this very interesting and I'd love to see the lionesses have more character relating to their personality! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have to say I don't support any personalities that are only a once per day per personality instead of a once per day per lion. It kind of deafeats the purpose of each lion having it's own personality. Maybe in the pvp battle each lion it's once per day but it's like a check box. So before you attack you check mark one lioness and she has a chance of doing an attack with you? Say a 50% chance, and it's once per day. So if you choose hit you do the action and she has a chance of doing the action as well. So say if you hit grab she would also have a chance of doing grab, same with roar, smack, etc. A suggestion for stingy lionesses, maybe they don't get hungry as fast? Like only loose 10% hunger per day. X saved up her own stash of food so she already ate today. Or X ate food you were going to waste, didn't you know that was still good for eating? 0 players like this post! Like? |
