Two bases, both based on and named after their respective cherry varieties! One very light and bright and supremely blotchy-- Rainier:  Full Size Some variations And the other dark, smooth, and mysterious with a few rare speckles-- Tieton:  Full Size Suggestions welcome! My other base suggestions: Strawberry: A Ticked Base Rawhide: A Light Countershaded Cream |

Honestly, I love how close Rainier is to Cinnabar. Cinnabar is a very solid color base and Rainier has nice subtle changes in the coloration. Cinnabar w/o lineart for ref:  & Henna just in case you wanted just the base colors itself to prove the differences. :3  Henna is a lot more brown than Tieton, which is why I support it! I love red bases. :D Also, perhaps Rainier could be Red Light Countershaded Special, and Tieton could be Red Dark Solid Special? They both look like they could be event specials or even raffle bases! 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Jellyfish (#38558) I agree on Tieton--but I'm not sure I could actually call Ranier a countershaded base, unless my understanding of what "countershaded" means is totally off! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Love the first one, the second one is a bit much for me though. Maybe if it was a countershade rather than being so solid and in-you-face-someone-spilt-wine-all-over-me-tide-please-save-me. I really like the color, it just needs something to cut the tone a bit so it fits better with the other colors(colored markings will look really awkward otherwise) 0 players like this post! Like? |
