Hi! I'm not an avid roleplayer, but I do enjoy to occasionally dabble. I decided to try again, though!

  ⦿ Now the catch is, I want to set a rough plot outline before we start - at the very least an endgame we're going to work towards, ideally with one or two key plot points/themes/arcs to realize on the way.

It would be a bit more like co-authoring a predetermined story rather than the spontaneous free flow most RPs here seem to maintain, but I'm more likely to finish a roleplay successfully (and enjoy myself along the way) if I have some goals set out. In my experience, beating around the bush and meandering from action to action with no structure to the flow kills my enthusiasm rather quickly.

  ⦿ Additionally, I'd like to set a rough estimate of the intended length. At first, something shorter - 10 to 20 literate responses from each partner, for example - and if we both want more, we'll work from there. :)

If you think you would like to take part in something like this, I hope the length of the post isn't scaring you off! :) I promise I'm not scary.

  ⦿ I post this primarily with 1x1 in mind, or a group of 3 or 4 people.

  ⦿If you'd be interested, here's a list of the things I like to write.
- real life adventure/slice of life stories, college/young adult stuff
- urban fantasy, ie. our world, only with all the magical riffraff you want - historical, contemporary, or futuristic
- science fiction - either on Earth or in galaxies far, far away... or anywhere inbetween. :)
- I can do Tolkien-esque/European mythos high fantasy, but let's spice this template up.

  ⦿ Existing canons I write in:
- Mass Effect, Star Wars, Dishonored, Transistor, Avatar (the Nick cartoon, but if you wanna do the James Cameron Avatar I'm down for that too ;D) - OC, canon, or both;
- Overwatch - preferably canon characters;
- Hunger Games, Steven Universe, Harry Potter (these three I'm rather tentative about, but can do if I really love your idea); Mercy Thompson, Kate Daniels, Sense8, Pacific Rim - preferably OC, I'd like to treat those solely as setting/theme references.
I'm also happy to take most canon characters for a spin in different AUs, if that's your thing.
Offer if you've got something else in mind; I might be interested.

  ⦿ Now for the dislikes:
I won't write furries and would prefer to stick to humans/humanoids, I haven't played Dragon Age, Marvel (chiefly MCU) has lost most of its appeal to me, I've watched like five anime in my day and remember jack squat about them, I won't touch Sherlock and Supernatural with a five-foot pole.

  ⦿ I do romance on a case-to-case basis; I prefer it to not be the main focus of a story, but there are exceptions; I'm OK with any gender setup with a slight preference for queer pairings. I'd like to leave the explicit stuff behind a fade-to-black, but if we take the RP off Lioden, I can make a shy stab at explicit content.

  ⦿ I'm looking for semi- to highly literate partners. Note that I judge this not by the length of your responses but by their quality. I can't stand nonexistent punctuation, poor dialogue writing, and purple prose. Three well-written sentences are worth more than three lengthy paragraphs of unnecessarily flowery epithets and edgy Mary Suing. If you're interested in RPing with me, I'd appreciate a small snippet to see if I'll enjoy writing with you. Hopefully we could both/all benefit from the exchange!
