Support. People clog the tree with masses of ugly cubs, good cubs simply have no chance to be found anymore due to insane amount of uglies. If they were cleared it'd actually raise the chance to find better cubs there.
Especially male cubs, there's wayyy too many there. They need to be cleared or they will forever just keep stacking, they arent getting taken naturally anymore; instead of dropping numbers they only gain daily.

I don't think I'd support completely clearing the cubs every friday, but maybe every friday allow people to take up to 5 male cubs, or something like that? It would clear the tree out without wasting them, just seems a shame to delete them all when some people would probably like to use them for fodder. Could also make it that every friday you can "purchase" cubs from the tree for 10sb each, and then have the sb added to the tree for people to pick up. My last suggestion (If clearing the cubs is preferred) is to have cubs who have been sent to the tree more than twice be deleted every friday (not sure how complex coding would be but it would be a good form of quality control), or have cubs deleted once they had been at the tree for longer than 10 days (this way cubs abandoned Friday would not be cleared on the day they were abandoned).

One other suggestion for cutting down on male tree cub numbers, just allow people to take one cub of each gender from the tree every day instead of only one total. Probably wouldn't fix the problem but it might help.

Maybe a cap of how many cubs a user can donate, as well? Like for example, mass breeders dumping 50+ male cubs every few days would just keep the issue rolling

Maybe make it so you can abandon, say, 5 cubs a day?

I don't like the idea of adding a cap, I rarely abandon cubs, but when I do I abandon a lot. Usually these are really nice (or at least decent, often special bases, 4+ "rare" marks, or VLF 1-10%) cubs that are nearing aging up that I can't be bothered to sell, and if a cap was added I would likely just kill them instead (which would be a huge waste, I kill many of my male cubs when they are small so most of them are female too!)
