The old alpha yawned finally opening her eyes and standing up slowly walking out of the cave, she closed her eyes and grumbled a bit at the light, she growled lazily at someone to came to close and walked straight to the spot she normally laid and dropped right back down resting her head on her paws her eyes dancing around lazily growling at another wolf who got too close

Fenris heard a wolf's voice ask if anyone was able to join a hunting patrol and he turned around, spotting Ogio. "As long as we're back when alpha leaves, then I am able to go," He barked in reply, his tail slightly wagging. "Besides, someone has to bring home all the food around here." He padded over next to the silver wolf and stood beside him. Knowing that he was the lead hunter, he decided to try and help out as much as he could in assisting Ogio and not trying to be a power-hunter.

Blythe ran through the forests, holding the rabbit she had caught earlier tightly in her jaws. She didn't stop until she reached an old badger den, where she had stayed ever since she and her brother parted ways. It was just on the outskirts of the Kumori Tribe territory. She went through the entrance of the den and sat down on her nest, looking out at the entrance warily. She didn't know if any of the wolves had caught her scent and were going to come after her. After a few minutes had gone by and she hadn't heard anything, she finally allowed herself to relax, laying down and starting to eat her kill. It had been a while since her last meal, and the rabbit tasted great, but she couldn't allow herself to get so close to the camps of one of the Tribes again.

Ximena gave a smile when Devaki addressed her, but otherwise did nothing aside from sit quietly at her side, only giving a curt, but polite smile when Catori wished her a good morning. She had only been with the Tribe for a couple months, and wasn't too familiar with choosing out wolves to accompany the Alpha, so there wasn't anything useful she could contribute to the conversation, she'd just interrupt. Plus, she still wasn't completely comfortable with the other wolves in the Tribe, Devaki being the only one she knew well. So she just listened to the wolves Devaki picked to come with her, nodding slightly at hearing her choices. She had picked out some good warriors to come with her, and Ximena wasn't too worried anymore. When Devaki was done speaking, she decided to say a few words. "Well, good luck!" She said, trying to conceal her nervousness with a happy tone, "Is there anything you'd like me to do for you while you're gone? Maybe replace the bedding of your nest?" She asked. If she had something to do while Devaki was off, perhaps she wouldn't be as worried.

Hearing Sean stutter, Dismas flicked one of his ears slightly. There he went again with the nervousness. 'I guess him being calm was too good to be true.' He had also caught the glance that he had taken at his ruffled up fur. Dismas knew it was bad, but gosh, could Sean be any more obvious? Instead of acting as annoyed as he really was, he plastered a confused look on his face. "Hey, why do you look so worried? Something on your mind?" He asked, wagging his tail. He heard Ruari approaching, but when he spoke, Dismas jumped slightly as if he had scared him, and he turned to face the other wolf. He almost cringed at his sweet smile, shaking his head. 'You're overdoing it, bud. Nobody is that nice.' He thought. As stupid as he thought Ruari's act was, it did seem to work on the other wolves. He wanted to snap at him when he came over to groom his fur, but resisted the urge and settled with giving him a small glare that only he could see. He was surprised that he knew about his little outings he had in the mornings, but didn't let it show on his face.

He did, however, consider taking up the offer on the hunt, when he overheard Lana telling Hestia there was a loner nearby, instantly grabbing his attention. He wanted to stay around in camp to hear what would happen to the poor, idiotic wolf that dared to hunt on their territory. "No, it's fine. I'm no good at hunting. I'd probably trip over a tree root and scare off all the prey." He joked with a small chuckle. "I don't really see a point in making myself look better. Who is there to impress? No wolf would take a Chi as their mate."

Baatar, hearing Catori call him one of the Tribe's finest warriors, allowed himself a small smile, proud. He respected the she-wolf almost as much as he respect the Alpha herself, and was happy to earn a compliment from her. Hearing someone approaching, he turned his head to see Verne. The younger male was a bit annoying at times, but Baatar was still slightly fond of him. He did have dedication. "Hello there, Verne. How are you today?" He asked, his voice deep and unmistakably masculine. They didn't have too much time to talk, though, because he soon heard Devaki call his name as one of the wolves that would accompany her to meet the Ookama Tribe. She had also called the deltas. "Looks like we're formally going to meet Hestia." He said to Verne, smiling slightly. He rose to his paws and padded over to Devaki, coming to a stop about a pace away from her and waiting for the others to ready themselves so they could go.

Aphra gained hope once again when Ruari was called to help with patrols, leaving Astrid on her own. Epsilons rarely went on patrols, since they were needed to help guard the camp. So she took the chance and padded over to Astrid, tail wagging. "Hey, Astrid." She greeted her happily, "I could help you count the herb stores, if you'd like. I used to be an Iota, so I already know where everything goes." She sounded casual, but was a little nervous that maybe Astrid wouldn't want her help. She knew that she preferred to be on her own and not draw too much attention to herself.

Devaki tried to keep herself from chuckling as Catori and Fenris spoke. The sound of Ximena's voice drew her attention away from the two betas. The fae gave the vixen a warm and friendly smile, Devaki could tell that the fox was a bit nervous. The wolf tossed the question around in her mind for a moment. As she coined with it her mind wandered to other places, what if she gave Ximena the choice to go along? Devaki knew that The little vixen was uncomfortable around wolves, even those of her own tribe, which was more than understandable. It was worth the invitation she decided, Devaki hoped that this wouldn't stress her out. "Ximena," Devaki began, keeping a calm but thoughtful gaze. "I was just thinking and I'd just like to say that you are more than welcome to come along on this trip if you would like" She explained, "I know that you are still getting used to wolves, and there is absolutely no shame in staying here. I just wanted to give you that option" The fae finished "I can't think of anything in particular I need you to do today at camp though, so if you do stay you can do whatever you want" She added quickly as a side note, a slight laugh mixed in with her words nearing the end of her sentence. She gazed at the vixen with a soft look, Ximena meant a lot to Devaki. The fae saw Ximena as a friend, someone she could talk to when she needed it, someone who never failed to make her smile. Devaki would hate to make her more uncomfortable than she has to be.

The fox nodded to Ruari as the beta asked him to go on patrol. "Of course" He said quietly. Sean saw it odd that a beta would ask a fox to lead a patrol, but he didn't see it as a bad thing either. technically Sean was one of the only hunters in the tribe currently, so that automatically gave him the power of a Kappa. His thought process flicked to Ruari and Dismas they conversed. Sean thought that Ruari was acting a little strangely, but didn't think anything o it,wolves were strange creatures after all. After Ruari padded away Sean let his tail sweep the ground as he continued to stand near Dismas. Sean hadn't heard the last thing the chi had said, he was preoccupied with choosing a hunting patrol or partner if only one other canine was interested. Glancing around the camp he saw a few members that may be interested, but he hadn't decided yet. He kept one ear towards Dismas in case he decided to say something to the fox, Sean didn't want to be surprised by him if he did.

Astrid nodded to him as Ruari walked over to Hestia. The sound of paws on the camp floor sounded in Astrid’s ears. Before she reached the den she heard Aphra approach. Astrid turned to face the dusty black fae as she spoke. ’That’s right!’ she thought to herself once Aphra had finished speaking. She used to be an iota!’ Astrid recalled. She looked down at her paws shyly before glancing up and smiling as the Epsilon ”You're too kind” she began awkwardly, ”I would love the help!” She added quickly, she could use all the help she could get. Astrid couldn’t really afford to miscount at this time of year, they needed the stock to last through late autumn and winter. With her ears perked she watched Aphra with a shy grin.

Verne leaned back to scratch his triangular ear. He was excited to see how this would go down, he had heard rumors that the Ookama tribe wasn’t the most friendly tribe.
