I paced the captain's quarters, knowing how imperative the mission had become. Earth was dying. Out the window and miles below, I could see the discoloration of the once beautiful planet. If it continued on its path then surely everything would be destroyed, all the life and all the chances of it coming back before the sun of the solar system imploded on itself. This made me anxious with my eyes shooting over to the intercom on the wall, waiting to hear from the twin pilots on my ship. My mind was quickly taken away from what was going on when the door to my room opened, despite my obvious request to be alone for the trip. "Jax, you really need to get out, socialize more. Come on, man. Get laid sometime," the alien, with fiery golden eyes and reptilian features commented. His tongue came out and flittered in the air with a slight hiss before it disappeared between his lips once more. A low, irritated rumble began to vibrate through my chest at the fact that the other man seemed to be questioning me. Perhaps it was something with my world, or something within me, but I didn't take well to those around me trying to tell me to act a certain way. My friend held up his hands innocently and shook his head. "Didn't mean to rile you up, Jax, but you really should get laid sometime. You are definitely acting grumpy lately and way too stressed. Look at your face- nevermind it is perfect as usual," the man started to say before grumbling about how it was so unfair that he looked the way he did, not exactly ugly, but nowhere near handsome and Jaxton was able to be so damned good looking. Of course, he always brought up the fact that he also wouldn't be wasting the good looks by sitting contentedly by while girls tried to gather his attention. My friend went on to try to explain exactly what he would do if he got the chance before the sound of the intercom interrupted him. "High Commander?" a voice stated questioningly, one that would resemble that of his twin. It was male and somehow lacked emotion, depth. "It's time," I stated, my voice being caught by the machine before it turned off and I turned towards the door to the captain's quarters. Without acknowledgment towards my friend, Xavier and without grabbing the tech suit, I left the room. Instead, I wore black leather pants. The leather pants were quite common on my planet and the black symbolized the fact that I was in the top tier of society, the richest and strongest. With a sudden determination entering me, I stepped into the main control room, followed quickly by Xavier. Without delay, I waved my hand, and the invasion began. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"No, mother, I don't need to move back in. I am perfectly capable taking care of Irene on my own," I huffed with indignation. I was trying to keep as calm as possible, but I had inherited a legendary temper from both my parents. However, with my little baby perched on my hip, I couldn't afford to let my temper get the better of me. "I told you when she was born that I wasn't living under your roof again, and that's not changing not that she's out of the NICU." I'd just picked up Irene from the hospital the day before, and whilst I was not at all prepared for my first night of motherhood, I wasn't about to give my parents the satisfaction of admitting they were right. Irene was six months old now, though technically my due date was only three months ago, tomorrow. My little miracle baby, born early and toughing it out. The doctors told me she wouldn't last thirty days, but here she was in my arms. She may not have been the healthiest child, in fact she was on four different medications just to keep her alive, and everyone was positive that she would have a learning disability as she grew up, but she was mine. She was the only thing I had left on this cruel planet. "I'll bring her by tomorrow if you want to see here, but I'm not staying!" I insisted as I paused outside the doors of the childcare center I had found to take care of Irene while I "worked." They generally asked for parents not to be on the phone when entering the building, so as not to disrupted children. Hey, I may have been a prostitute by trade, but I wasn't rude. "I'll see you then... I love you. Bye," I sighed as I hung up. Adjusting my hold on Irene, I tugged on the skirt of my dress to get it as far down as possible, though seeming it of no use, I instead cinched my trench coat to hide the treacherous thing. Before I pushed open the door, a dark and foreboding shadow covered me and I could not help but look up, only to have to smother a shriek as I noticed... an alien invasion?! I didn't even had time to think. I clutched little Irene tighter to my chest and ran for the nearest alleyway. "Oh god please," I breathed, choking back tears as I tried to curl around my daughter as best as I could. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 12/04/17 @ 14:49:20 by π Maladi {Jedi} π (#4467) |

I didn't grab any weapons, and the two twins piloting his spacecraft didn't seem to really care to get off the ship in the first place. I didn't mind it, in fact, I was rather happy they wouldn't be out there. It was no doubt they would attack any human in sight with their vaporizing tools, going on a spree of it all. There was no need to make so many humans suffer when there were good ones among them. Of course, the population would go down to the thousands by the time they left and they were only supposed to grab five thousand human candidates for what they needed to handle. That meant there had to be a large cleanup and there would most likely be mass hysteria. The ship settled down close to the ground, close enough that I was able to open the door and jump right out. The fall would have hurt most of my kind, and mostly likely would have killed any human, but the air moving through my wings slowed the descent. The air brushed through the feathers, causing them to ruffle with the wind, making a blissful sensation press through my body. When I reached the ground, I was planted softly onto the street, with eyes moving over the entire area. Already humans were screaming and running, making it chaos on the streets. My eyes brushed over women and men, finding that my underlings were taking care of everything quickly in an, most likely scarring, orderly fashion. My feet were void of any coverings, just another article of clothing my body refused to be dressed in like my shirt. Of course, I could make myself wear something, but it was too much effort and far too much distraction from whatever I would have been attempting to do. Some humans were frozen, staring at me and my underlings as if we were sent by some godly force. No, we were just otherworldly and powerful. Amidst the chaos, my men surrounded me, and I began giving strict orders. There were not to be any children unless they were found to be good, female children that would help them in the future. Men were going to be judged harder than any of the others, as they would be narrowed down the extremes. Only the smartest, strongest, and most submissive of the bunch would be able to head onto the spaceships, and even that number would only be in the few hundreds. The priority was stopping the decline of our species, and that meant we needed new blood, not that I actually cared. I was not involved in the insanity of mating and having children. No, I would rather have been alone in my house, left to my own devices. I ordered the men, moving my hands this way rather than speaking. They knew what I meant and they knew their jobs. My icy eyes continued to scope around the area, searching and shifting through the crowd with my head held high and an air about me that left nothing to guessing, I was the leader there and I was not one to be messed around with. 0 players like this post! Tears blurred my sight as I stumbled through the alleyway, choking back my sobs as I tried to hide from the terrified shrieks ringing through the air around me. I tripped over a stray trash bag, and it took all my willpower not to shriek as I curled my body around Irene and ducked behind a dumpster. "Oh god, please, oh please," I cried, clutching my tiny daughter to my chest. Of course, my wretched crying only caused Irene to feel my distress and fear, and soon she had joined in my tears with her own fearful cries. "Shhh, it's okay Irene, we'll be okay," I promised, pressing my lips to the top of her head and trying as hard as I could to calm her down as I fished my phone back out of my pocket. I dialed my brother's number, hoping to god he hadn't been killed. However, my heart soon sank to my stomach as I heard his ringtone for me passing by the front of the alley way. 'No!' I couldn't help it. I peered out from behind the dumpster to see my brother being lead with a few other able bodied and intelligent guys to somewhere beyond my range of sight. Panic gripped me, and despite the soft weight of Irene in my arms, I was soon back on my feet and running out after my brother. "Andrew!" I screamed, clutching my daughter close as I ran blindly towards my elder brother. Before I could so much as brush my fingers against the fabric of his doctor's coat, a heavy weight fell on my face and I was thrown backwards. "Moxilene, no, run!" Andrew shouted, but I couldn't move. My head had smacked against the brick wall of the building behind me, and though I had taken the brunt of the fall with my back, the jostling Irene experienced caused my poor baby to wail in fear and shock. I could feel blood trickling from the back of my head, and my vision was swimming. I couldn't focus on anything, and my sight went from blindingly bright to disorientingly dark. All I could make out was an alien figure approaching me as I clutched Irene tighter to myself. It was hard to be afraid when I was bordering unconsciousness, but before My eyes shut and my body went limp, I could feel terror shooting through me like ice. 'What was going to happen to my family?' "Please, she's my sister!" Andrew begged, not stepping out of line, but keeping his gaze shifting between his sister and niece, and the alien that had sent them flying. "Don't kill her, or leave her here, I'll do anything, please! Let me take the child, I can care for her, I swear, I'm a doctor, it's what I'm trained for!" The endless babbling kept falling from his lips as he neared the verge of tears seeing his baby sister lying unconscious with her terrified daughter left with no one to immediately care for her. 0 players like this post! I stood there, watching from afar how things were progressing. When I thought things could possibly have calmed down, yet another woman ran towards someone, probably hoping that she would be able to save whoever was being led off. She didnβt know what they were doing with the smart men. Though, he looked at the group. Knowing those in that group had a better chance of surviving than those who were overdosing on whatever they could find lying around. With a shake of my head, I watched as she hit the wall and felt the need to interfere. With a long-suffering sound escaping my throat, I strode forward in long, powerful strides. Whoever the man was, begged something about the woman being his sister and that he would take care of the child. I walked past the man and knelt by the womanβs side, my hand moving to adjust her head, noticing the trickle of blood coming from her head. My thumb brushed over the red stain and shook my head. In an easy movement, I picked her up into my arms, minding the child that was nestled still in her arms. My eyes moved over the small thing and turned my attention on the human male who claimed to be the womanβs brother. βCome,β I commanded, my eyes sparking with a dangerous intent if he was to refuse my command. Instinctively, I couldnβt handle someone refusing my orders, especially someone who was in no position to. So, without looking at whether he was coming or not, I started forward. While I should have gotten looks for carrying a single human female, though attractive, towards my ship, I did not. No one was going to judge someone with as high a position as mine. No one was willing to question my commands, my aura of leadership, or my power. With long, easy strides, I found myself stopped at a ship, turning to look for my friend, Xavier. He came from the ship, having snuck back on. I didnβt know what he had been up to, but I didnβt care. βTake the white coated man,β I told him in a stiff, growly voice. It was as if it was never used, never needed to be used. With the amount of time I spent locked away in between meetings and missions, I was able to live a very quiet, if not silent, life. Sure the servants were there, but they didnβt require me to speak, just a vague gesture they had trained themselves to understand instinctively. Xavier nodded at my command, bowing lowly before hopefully turning and finding the man in the white doctorβs coat. βAs you wish, High Commander,β he stated, formal tones reeking from his voice. After all, though we may be friends and though we may be able to relax in our own company, he would never dare address me as anything but higher than him in front of a potential enemy or another kind. I didnβt smile, nor did I show any emotions, carefully making sure the small baby in the womanβs arms was safely settled. Without looking back once more, I stretched my wings that begged to be moved. With a single push to the ground, they lifted me off the ground, sending me high into the air in a matter of seconds. All the while, I balanced the two in my arms to make sure they were both secure, both perfectly safe. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Andrew had hurried along, keeping just enough of a respectful distance from the creature as his gaze nervously flickered to what he could see of his sister from where he was behind the alien. They were alive. That was the important thing. He, and his sister, and his niece, all alive. They could handle anything together. As the strange alien told another of his kind to take him somewhere, Andrew nervously watched the original carry away the two most important girls in his life at that point before his gaze flicked to the ground before his new guard what was this species' custom in hostile situations? Knowing that sure would make it better to cooperate. I had a splitting headache when I began to wake up, but what initially caught my attention what Irene's soft whimpers she was no longer crying, but I could feel her fear and stress locked with my own. "Irene," I murmured, tightening my grip around my little girl as the rest of my world began to come into focus. I was being carried. My ears where clogging with a change in pressure. I forced my eyes to open briefly, but soon forced them shut again, turning my head away from the alien carrying me. I still wanted to believe that this was a dream, but I just couldn't anymore. Not when I was rising towards an alien spaceship that would carry me to who knows what solar system in who knows which Galaxy. In some God forsaken corner of the universe. "It's alright, Irene," I breathed, wishing I could believe my own words as hot tears stung my eyes and rolled down my cheeks. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It took only one more push of my wings to send up high enough so that I could land on the open entry of my spaceship. With trained and concentrated movements, I made sure not to jostle them and looked down, knowing that the woman was pressed away from me and her daughter was whimpering. I didn't say a word. Rather, I walked into my ship and took long strides to my private quarters where I was certain I would not be bothered. The door opened automatically and closed behind me with a slight whizz. Inside was a comfortable bed and a window that looked out to the word. I walked over and set the woman down on the bed and turned away. She was safe. She could rest her body. I walked to the window and looked at the chaos below. My hands moved to behind my back, one clasping another as I stared. My icy eyes scoured over the area before I felt the slight movement of the ship indicating one of my crew had landed once more. I heard the door open and a few muttered words exit a filthy mouth in my native tongue. "He was damn heavy," he mumbled. "Report?" I commanded, my tone far tougher, giving no doubt that I wanted an answer. "Sorry, Commander. The man was taken to another compartment of the ship and I await your further orders," he expressed with a deep bow. His eyes were trained on the ground, and I just watched him put on a show out of the corner of my eyes. "He will be comfortable. He will do well," was all I said. Xavier jerked up and blinked at me with confusion coating his expression. I turned just my head and raised my eyebrows. He nodded slowly as if understanding just from the look I gave him that I meant that he would be kept alive and treated with the utmost courtesy. With another bow, he left the room and the door closed shut directly after him. "Name," I commanded from the girl who I have saved from dying, whether she realized that or not. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"He will be comfortable. He will do well," Was he talking about Andrew? Was my brother okay? I wanted to ask, but I was so terrified. Even as I laid there on what had to be the most comfortable bed I had ever been on, I couldn't bring myself to do more than roll onto my side and cradle Irene to my chest, calming her as much as I could with my heart racing as it was. I shut my eyes tighter as the alien demanded my name, curling up around Irene and gently pressing my lips to her head. I had calmed her, now it was her turn to calm me. "My name is Moxilene Avery, and my daughter is Irene," I said after gently clearing my throat. "The man you brought on board ... Is that my brother, Andrew?" I finally asked. I remembered he was wearing his coat, and that would have had his name on it. "Doctor Avery?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

I stared at the woman who was lying on my bed for a long moment as she answered me. "Yes," I responded easily, without emotions in my voice once more. It was harsh, but it needed to be done. I wasn't going to talk to her like she probably wanted me to, didn't have the ability for that, never had. So, I kept my voice clipped and emotionless. With several long strides, I stepped to when she was curled with her child on my bed. I leaned over her and ran my hand over her hair, just feeling it before I knelt down and looked at her. "Will you behave?" I asked with my icy eyes peering at her. They contrasted the pure onyx color of my skin that seemed to resemble rocks in the way it looked. My hand moved to her chin and I brushed my thumb over it, proving that though my skin looked hard it was actually as soft as a human's. I made it so that her eyes were staring into mine whether she liked it or not. My gaze was serious and my body unmoving as I waited for her response. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I froze up as I felt his hand moving over my hair, unable to look away from his icy eyes as he knelt down beside me. As he gently stroked my chin, I began to relax again. I slowly nodded, finding it was taking awhile for my lips to catch up to my brain. "Yes sir," I murmured softly. Part of me wanted to lean forward and see if his lips were as soft as the rest of his skin, another part was screaming at me for how stupid the idea was, and yet a third part couldn't even begin to process anything else as I simply stared at my captor. What was going to happen to me? What was going to happen to Irene? And Andrew? "May I," I began, losing my nerve and finally drawing my eyes away from the mysterious creature before me. "May I ask what will happen to my brother? And my daughter?" I didn't really care what happened to me. Couldn't be worse that making a living as a whore, at any rate. 0 players like this post! I stared at her for a long moment, just watching as she seemed to close back in on herself. Her eyes went somewhere else and he waited for her to finish what she had been beginning to say. "Safe," was my one-worded response before I stood up once more and wandered back to the window. Her daughter would be taken care of, something that wouldn't have happened if she had been taken by someone else. She could probably guess that they would kill her and use her to bring their children into the world. Her brother was also an asset since he was obviously smart and well-trusted by his people enough to become a doctor. That much would have saved him anyway, something they didn't need to know. Intelligence was valued, especially if the person could be submissive as well, which was how they took the group who didn't rebel towards one of our ships. I stared out the window, contemplating the scene below. It was more of a final effort to dispose of rebelling humans than anything else. When the final group of my people got onto their ships, leaving only a few, shaken people behind, did we start to leave. "Stay," I ordered her with a long look before I headed away and out the door. As another precaution I pushed my hand into the pad outside the door, effectively locking it from opening to anyone but me. Then, I turned and walked once more, hearing the sounds of Xavier snapping at the human male that was related to the woman I had taken. I didn't say a thing, only walked until I reached the main room of the ship where the controls were at. I motioned forward with my hand and the twins began to work the machine expertly. We began moving like the other ships had, back towards my planet. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I watched the alien move away from the bedside, and deep down I felt the regret of not going in for it and kissing him. What was the worst he could do? Kill me? Truth be told, sometimes the "job" I had been forced to resort to on Earth was like a fare worse than death. I had made up my mind. The next time we were along and the opportunity presented itself, I would kiss him. As he walked out of the room, I managed to relax a little more, though the initial jolt of take off and leaving the various layers of Earth's atmosphere caused Irene some distress. "Shh, it's okay baby," I murmured, gently kissing the top of her head. I slowly sat up and began to bounce her in my arms, daring to stand up and walk over to the window my captor had been at earlier. "Don't cry Irene. We'll be okay," I promised her. It was a risky thing, making promises to children. However she was young and would never remember it, so I figured I would be safe. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I stared out the main giant window that spanned the area in front of me just a bit further away than the control center. My hands wrapped around a railing overseeing everything and leaning against it. The hypnotic black void that was looking ahead to different planets was something else. The ships around them began going faster and I made a single grunting noise and the twins pressed a few buttons and the ship moved faster as well without jolting them at all. Instead, the planet was gone in a matter of moments and different solar systems flashed for brief moments of time as they moved forward. Finally, the ship entered a sunset colored mass and we were in my solar system with a giant pure white sun in the middle of everything, burning brighter than the Earth's sun ever had with a lovely blue ring around it. We flew a bit slower towards a beautiful white, blue and slightly green planet. It wasn't normally very warm, though just comfortable enough three-fourths of the year. The other one-fourth I would have to keep the woman, Moxilene as she had said, and her child, Irene from what she kept whispering, inside my home for those parts of the year. I would also have to find them warmer clothes for the natural temperature of the surface. If I lived in the sky city it would be a lot colder, which she was lucky I didn't. "We are preparing to land, sir," one of the twins stated. It brought me back from my thoughts of the future and I blew out a breath before nodding. With a jerk of my hand, I motioned for them to do just that, land, before turning and walking out of the command room. I knew how to fly the ship, but it needed more than one man and I wasn't going to try and do it on my own. So, I left and entered my room once more, and cleared my throat calmly. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I looked over as the alien that had taken us gently cleared his throat, casting a fleeting glance over my shoulder towards the lovely planet we were approaching. I didn't want to leave the window. It felt like leaving a last sooner of freedom. But, is promised I would be obedient. And if there was anything any whore worth his or her rate knew, it was how to take orders. We may not always like it, but we knew, quite possibly better than any other person around, that taking orders was the quintessential key to survival. "Yes, sir?" I asked as I walked over to stand before him. I didn't dare look him in the eye of my own accord, as tempting as it was. I knew some animals took that as a challenge for dominance, but I had no idea how this sentient being would percieve it. Irene was still cradled against my chest, and since she had calmed and fallen asleep, I resisted the urge to keep glancing at her, keeping my focus on this strange being. 0 players like this post! The woman looked at me and she walked over from her place by the window with the child, Irene if what the woman kept saying was her name. I stared at her as her gaze was lower, not meeting mine, and she asked what I wanted. My hand moved to her chin to tilt her head up and stared down into her eyes for a silent minute. "Follow," I finally instructed and walked out the door of the room, knowing that if the woman was smart, she would follow. The ship landed, I heard the thrumming noise and then the quiet of the ship. I kept walking and moved towards the exit before pausing before a door which opened immediately. Xavier was about to walk through and blinked as he saw me. A pout was on his face and the woman's brother was in the room. "He's not talking, sir," was what Xavier said. Obviously, my man had been bothering the human with questions, though it was obvious that Xavier wasn't very intimidating, just annoying. My orders kept anything from happening to Moxilene's brother. "Come," I ordered the brother with a wave of my hand. My other hand was on Moxilene's shoulder in a hold that told her that she couldn't run to her brother again. I looked down at her, just stared for another long minute, knowing that the unspoken reminder that she had promised to listen was in my eyes. Then, I turned and began walking towards the exit once more with Xavier still pouting, but walking alongside me. 0 players like this post! Like? |
