Hagane sprawled his legs out as he sat down, reading a book. He licked a finger as he then flipped a page, before he heard some noises outside. His ears rotated at an angle where they could pinpoint where it was coming from, and he turned around. The feline mumbled to himself as he got up off of his seat and quietly walked outside. There was nothing out there, or at least there seemed to be nothing. It wasn't until he turned around to see what looked to be.. blood? He walked deeper outside into his yard and followed the trail of crimson to his backyard. He gasped when he saw a mutilated corpse laying on the ground, next to some rubbish. He quickly turned around and ran back inside of the house, grabbing his phone to dial 911.

Silice temporarily ignores the commotion. She really wanted a place to sleep. Finding some dead palms, she sets them against the stick tent she built against a sturdy palm tree. She stands up, gently blowing from her snout, scanning the surrounding in hopes of finding something as a bedding. There was a stream near, which means moss. "Guys, wanna go collect some organic bedding with me?" she points to the stream to the west, the sun was already near vanishing.

Hagane Hana | Clouded Leopard/Cougar | Unharmed

The lean feline waited for an answer, but he got none. It wasn't until the power went off that a shudder ran down his spine. He carefully put the phone back and looked outside. Suddenly, the power went back on. He quietly turned on the tv and switched to the news channel, maybe he could find out about the murder. On second thought, the body was in HIS yard, what if they blamed him? He shook his head and sat back, looking at the tv. Apparently, there was a serial killer on the loose. He shook his head and rested his head on his paw, covering his forehead. "Oh no.." He sighed. He didn't even have a room mate or anything, and he could already tell this was only going to cause him paranoia. He breathed in and walked over to the door, locking it. He turned off the lights as well. Aaaand I don't have a gun either, great. He thought.

Sheyla I Wolf I Unharmed

"Sure." Sheyla was wary of the setting sun. "We'd better be back before sundown, though." She looked towards a bush and noticed black fur stuck on thorns. Oh, great! Just great! She decided not to freak everyone out and picked it up, hiding it under a cluster of ferns. I wonder if they're hiding around here... She couldn't help but look at the ferns where she his the fur. It feels wrong to hide it from them. But I have to.

Pherua nodded at Sheyla before they made their way back to camp. "I will take first watch, not even tired anyways." She said her tail flicking with annoyance. *Why didn't I smell him, why couldn't I sense him.* She thought as a growl escape her throat, she began to walk to slowly walk around the camp her anxiety getting to her.

I can't believe this! I wish I could go home and not worry about this! She glanced at Pherua as she walked. She suddenly felt the sleep that dragged at her, closing her eyes, she fell asleep, unaware of her surroundings. I wonder if they'll fall asleep soon

She lays on her side, tucking her tail in for warm. She couldn't really sleep. The moon shines brightly tonight, curiosity slowly pecking at her to wake up and explore. But awareness shot down arrows that death would also be found. She closes her eyes and lets out a quite sigh, looking back at the map. Tomorrow, she thought, we're going exploring. Silice dozed off.

Sheyla I Wolf I Unharmed

Sheyla woke up in the middle of the night. I can't sleep! Not when a murderer is on the loose! How can they sleep so soundly?! She glanced at her companions. She let out a sigh. She knew that she had to stay, no matter how badly it scared her. "Be brave, like mother said," she told herself. She got up and sat on the log she had used as a seat. She had to do it. She climbed a tree and grabbed some vines and weaved them together. She tied two of them to a low hanging branch and then tied the weaved vines to them. She used mud to patch up the biggest holes. She shoved some sticks through the holes as well, so that anything caught in the trap was guaranteed to be bloodied. She wiped her forehead. Now I wait

She twitched her ears multiple times to get rid of the shuffling sound, cursing at her alarm clock. Oh yea, Im not sleeping in my apartment..She blinks open her groggy eyes and slowly adjust to the light level, which is considerably leveled."Who's up?" she calls outside tent with a firm tone, hoping she didn't just grab the attention of the murder.

"Its just me," Sheyla said as she walked past. "I was setting a trap so we could see if anything we can eat gets stuck in it. Or the murderer, of course." She glanced at the trap, it was well hidden amongst the dense foliage. I hope it works, she thought. She looked at Silice, feeling embarrassed for some reason. She sighed. "I just hope something gets stuck in it."

Pherua looked the trap Sheyla made. "It's to close to camp you won't catch nothing." She said looking at the woods again. "We could try a a couple yards in the forest?" She said her voice plain and dull. "Since you two are awake I will go and set one up in there, if you are ok with that." She said looking back at the two grabbing the remaining vines.

She pulls on Pherua's tail before she leaves,"Best not go alone." "Barkley here still need somebody to look after him." She directs to the clump near the back of the tent. Having two people go was still an issue, if one gets lost, the other is doomed as well."Let's do it in the morning, and I see there is more to explore on the island. We could set up traps as we go?"

Pherua looked at Silice and gave her a small nod. "Ok if you say so." She said going towards the end of the tent making sure Barkley was alright. "If you two will be up I might as well get some rest." She said with a yawn, she laid down falling asleep almost immediately. Pherua was raised in a very bad neighborhood, where you heard gunshots, sirens, yelling and fighting all the time. She has even got at a couple of times just because she was hanging with the wrong people. This is why she doesn't like to hang around with others any more, and here she was again wrong place wrong time.

Silice nods at Pherua,"What about you Sheyla? Are you gonna stay up or get some rest too?" She peers at Sheyla with wide pupils. "I can manage it on my own fairly well." Ideas were already swarming her mind, make a water collector, a few fish traps, a nice little spear, nature did provide for all!
