Correct me if I'm wrong, but the female beetles don't really do anything in the game other than being there for breeding. A little tiresome, especially since they can still be trained. So I suggest that there be a button where a female can go "exploring" every hour or so. During this she has a chance of bringing back herbs, feathers, other small items. Hell, maybe even a chance to bring back SB or new larvae. The females stats could determine what her chances of bringing certain items back are.
