Similar to opacity changers, you could adjust the darkness or lightness of a marking. For example, you get a lion with maroon coat and maroon pelage. They just have a huge purple/pink back and thats a wasted slot that has no use unless you make one of the markings 0% opacity or super low opacity at that. With the hue/burn/dodge changer, you could make the maroon coat darker than regular maroon while still preserving the marking itself. The changes wont pass down though, and dont show up in breeding. Lions would continue to breed as usual, with lions looking the same as they do now The only change is that, on a customizable level, you can buy a changer that will let you toy around with the darkness of the marking so it will show up better overtop another of the same color/opacity. two same-color markings at 100% will no longer just look like one blob, they could overlay and one be darker with the hue changer without sacrificing the opacity. It'd be a fairly expensive item too, an oasis item probably like the opacity changer is, but worth 4 gb instead of 2. Just to make it a little less common perhaps |

I think this sounds like a lot of work for Xy to create shade sliders for all of the markings. We already have lots of markings in lots of colors and opacity changers on top of that. No support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sounds fair. I guess I'm biased cause I love the maroon colors, but pelage + coat and such has always been a killer. Thanks though 0 players like this post! Like? |

I believe this would just make it more difficult for the administrators of the game to come out with more marking colors if you were able to change the color of the marking altogether. You can always just change the opacity for a similar effect, but I don't see the point in changing a marking color away from the color it was intended to be. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support, sorry. I think it would be overly complicated to go in and create another layer, customized for each color so it looks right, that changes the darkness or lightness of each marking. And I don't think the result would be that astounding for it to be worth it. We have a variety of onyx and white markings and you can use those to change the lightness and darkness. Additionally, I'm satisfied with the range you can get using multiple of the same color markings. In like two minutes I made this lion with 10 onyx markings and you can pretty clearly see each marking. I think the opacity changer gives plenty of freedom with designs. https://tinyurl.com/kwfbgkd 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 27/04/17 @ 12:01:01 by »cin« 🐇✨🦈 (#106573) |
