I feel this so hard. Sometimes I'll design a character and then halfway through realize their personality doesn't match how I'm playing them.

I have a "Chaotic Good" Tiefling Druid and I realized during my last session I've been playing her more as Lawful Evil

I agree so much. Part of me doesn't even want to put detail into written personalities anymore because I know I'll play them out so much differently. I'm having a lot of difficulty playing Jukka for instance- and Ragnar is hard to write without him just seeming like a spazzy psychopath lmfao

Anyway I posted some replies, they're kind of half-assed. I'll write out something for Beocca next post and I'm waiting for Wendibro to post with Salem before I continue with Ragnar.

I'm really tempted to add a few more doggos, but I'm not entirely sure I should considering I already have five characters. I do kind of want a slayer though and another character I'd like to try out in this setting. Decisions, decisions. I feel like the latter character likely wouldn't make it for long though because she'd constantly challenge Ragnar's opinions and views of females and that seems like something I doubt he'd tolerate.

We should probably figure out who survives this battle and who doesn't. I'd be willing to toss in a throwaway character depending on the amount on either side.

Also, Derrien has turned into some kind of comic relief and I love it.

I relate to that- I feel like I'm playing Lena completely differently to what I intended her to be like. ;w; oops!
I can make a killable character too, since I've only Lena at the moment.

Darrien has certainly become a favourite of mine. He's too precious :')

Gunnvarr and Beocca are inevitably not going to make it trough the battle. I plan on having Saba, North and Jukka survive as of right now but I'm considering Ragnar's fate, to be honest. Which is why I'm also considering creating an adoptable for someone to take- Ragnar's estranged son.

I think we should also discuss how we think this battle should play out. As not everyone wants to kill off all their characters, there will be a lot of surviving canines and therefore not a clear "win" for either side (unless we say we have a lot of npc's on one side who died) so should one side take the other prisoner? The Blackback Guard could potentially take hold of the kingdom and everyone within it, or vice versa?

I'll probably make another couple characters eventually too.. some may die some may not. Oh god what am I doing to myself?
