He sighed with a grump. " What am I supposed to do? " he asked as he dropped what he held; which had been the long dead deer. He crossed his arms, as if he had been a child that wanted something but mother had said no. He watched as the dragon lay in his path, making his eyes narrow slightly. Exacerbate?, he pondered the word. He had guessed it ment that if he went he would lure the dragons onto him rather than the town. He lowered his arms, his eyes no longer narrowed, but held curiosity and a bit of fear. " Is...everyone ok? " he asked shyfully as he twiddled with his thumbs. He began to feel a pit inside of his stomach, as if something was going on and it was not going to be good.

Seeing as Max and Seth were creating a distraction, Sterre decided it was a good time to slip away and go find Arie. She slowly backed off, and as soon as she was around the corner she broke into a run, clutching on tightly to her sword to make sure that she wouldn't drop it. She kept running until she reached the cover of the forest, where she stopped to catch her breath for a few moments. Once she was ready to continue, she walked forwards, warily glancing around. "Arie!" She called, hoping that the dog was nearby. She suddenly heard barking not too far off, and followed the noise to find Arie trying to get to a small squirrel that was up in one of the barren trees. Overwhelmed with relief that he was alright, she ran forward and threw her arms around him in a hug, leaving her sword laying on the ground right beside her.

Clink Clink Clink! the faint noise of metal overwhelmed his ears as he lifted his eyes lids open with quickness. He blinked, confused on why she was scared. She must have a leader, one that obiously strikes fear in both foe and friend. He nodded his head to the dragoness. " Who will I tell? I don't know many. " he said with a small smile. His faint smile lightened as he reached for the deer again. He then looked back up at the dragon, wondering if she will still keep him captive or will let him free.

She growled and snapped her jaws at the humans. How dare they attack their superior? Retch's serpentine body slid forward, propelled by viscous claws. "You really are stupid. If we're lizards, you're rats. Worthless and replaceable." She reached forward and attempted to snatch the sword from Max's grasp, not caring if she crushed or maimed his arm in the process. Her eyes flicked to Bon, now on a roof, to see if the steel toothpick had injured her. Scales don't grow back for years and it'd be a shame if such a pristine set of white armor was damaged.

He looked stunned when the dragon approached him suddenly. " Ahh! What are you doing?!" he shouted as he tried prying the dragons forepaws off of him. It was no use, he was weak compared to her. Luckily it wasn't hurting him as much, but it still contained a bit of pain due to the weight. His head turned when he saw a girl running from out of no where.
