How about feeding a Pennyroyal to a piebald to get different piebald patternations?

That would be awesome!

while i find the pennyroyal is a nice gameplay addition, i strongly believe it should be kept exclusively for only primal variations. so, sorry i do not support :/

Hmm interesting you say that, I feel it would be a natural extension. I think the description for the Pennyroyal almost hints at this:

'CURRENTLY' Ehh ...

Pingu - but Xylax himself stated that it's only for primals for now, and there might be more mutations with variations it can be used on in future? From news:
"Future plans for variations cover refreshing mutations such as Folded Ears or maybe even Achromia! I also have something in mind for Dwarves (which you can suspect what it is if you watched my art stream! :D)"
So it most likely will be used for more mutations than primals.

I support. Getting same piebald every time is really boring. I suggested a similar thing before but it got too many nonsupports. Now that we already have an item to induce variations, I dont see why piebald cant have it. After all, the chance is still slim you'd get any piebald at all, it doesnt raise the chance to get a mutated cub. You might use 30 of them and never get a piebald in the litters.

I'd like a Different item, not Pennyroyal, for piebalds!

Yeah, it'd be kinda confusing if each mutation would have it's own variation item!

But - it's official there will be more. Just added this quote to my first post:
"Future plans for variations cover refreshing mutations such as Folded Ears or maybe even Achromia! I also have something in mind for Dwarves (which you can suspect what it is if you watched my art stream! :D)"

Sooo it kinda doesnt make sense you want it to stay primal only and that's why dont support this suggestion. There will surely be more anyway.

I really, REALLY don't think Pennyroyal will be exclusive to primals, the description hints at it even - and the news post out right spells it out as Hyena said.

It's senseless to have lots of different items for each mutation. It's unnecessarily confusing and cluttering and that the pennyroyal is named so and not 'primalroyal' speaks volumes.

i know but like said, personal opinion ;)

though i admit it kinda tickles my fantasies what variations dwarfism and leopon might/could have^^ but i think it will be pretty hard to figure something out for those such as achromia... i just cannot imagine something for them :/ but luckily not i am the one to come up with the ideas cuz my head would have already exploded by now XD

Leucistic is similar to achromia, achromia is complete loss of any pigment - leucistic is the loss of most pigment but retaining a certain one. For example if yellow pigment remains and all others are lost with the leucism, the animal will look like yellow-ish albino, have red eyes mostly and light fur with only yellow pigment present (like leucistic mice, I used to own one).
Dilute is from the same group of mutations damaging pigments, except that with dilute, all pigments are damaged but not completely, so the colors look pale and "washed out".

Trust me, general google search is useless too, it shows all albino and piebald animals for "leucistic" search. xD I just know it because Im into animal anomalies and mutations. x3
